I also had a locution with a woman's voice in my right ear while praying. I immediately identified it as the voice of Our Lady. She told me if I fasted and prayed she would send me a son who would be a special priest to her. A few months later, after obeying the request, I became pregnant with a boy. Today he is 24 years of age and is in the Toronto Archdiocese Seminary. Please pray for him, his name is Kurtis Noro. Thank you for sharing your religious experience!

That's so amazing. A few years back, I had a locution in my left ear. It was Jesus. He said, "I love you." I guess I needed to hear that. It is a wonderful grace that I can return to.

I became Catholic but I thot the main reason I was called to the Catholic Church was because my husband was Catholic. One morning he didn’t go to Mass. I went by myself. I was MAD. As I was walking across the street I heard the Lord say “I called u here for me!”

Jesus spoke to me in adoration. He interrupted my prayers by calling me by my given name. Which startled me, and then he went on to tell me that he was there, and I had the distinct impression of him leaning his head against mine. I had an experience with Jesus in 2023. He delivered me. He spoke to me inaudibly and sent me to the catholic church for the truth. He stressed the truth and interpretations of scripture is very important and warned me of the other churches. Not to say He isn't with all Christians. I felt His love for humanity. I sense something is really happening right now and in the church. I don't understand it. Honestly, I was in shock and wasn't 100% grounded until over a year after the experience. I'll be confirmed this Easter. ❤ 🙏
"Stay in prayer." "Be perfect in love." "Read (scripture) daily."
He also spoke to me about feeding the hungry. God bless us all. 🙏 ❤

Josh, I was paying the rosary one night and started to drift to sleep when I was startled awake by a woman's voice. It was so startling I was looking around the room for the source. Unfortunately, I was not sure what she told me, because I was so surprised by this. She either said "come closer" or "pray slower". I felt a mix of guilt. disappointment, and elation at this, because I was not attentive in my state of drowsiness to clearly hear her speak, but I figure both of those are great advice in prayer and bear good fruit. I was surprised at the way her voice sounded: feminine but strong. If she was the BVM, I had always imagined her to have a higher pitched (soprano) voice, but the one I heard would have been in the alto range if she were singing.

Your Asian roots also testify to the spiritual yearning you had that was met in the Catholic Church . China has been waiting for Christ for millennia . The Tang dynasty encouraged the building of over 100 Christian monasteries in the 6 th century . The Eastern roots of Catholicism is deep , and the mystical nature of the Church is still very much alive in that region .

The mystical spirituality of Catholicism is a rich tradition within the Church, and indeed, it is sometimes the very experience itself of God and grace at work in our human lives that strengthens faith. For all one’s intellect and brilliance, the best is surely when God understands our weakness - including intellectual pride - and works from the simplest point of contact, speaking directly a d interiorly with such joy and peace you know it is a genuine experience by itself. 😊

When I learned there are degrees of prayer and that anyone can go higher in these degrees up to mysticism, where they begin receiving loads of infused knowledge and actual clearer and bigger amounts of responses from God, then that was it for me... I already had other reasons, but this was the final one. And then when I actually began my conversion process I then had plenty of interesting experiences that showed me I was going the right direction and that I was comming closer to God and He's already communicating with me and teaching me things, giving me light, etc...

Very strange to me in the bible the one thst would call someone into a particular ministry/mission is God. So that's strange to me. And yea in pretty much all chapels there's a statue of virgin mady above all others. That ain't right. So the catholic church praises God or Mary?

Not the first time (in fact many) that I've heard of people brought up Protestant are exposed to anti-Catholic remarks at home and in sermons. So it is a reassuring feeling that I and the large majority of Catholics don't hear negative things about Protestants at home or at church simply because we know we are following the church founded by Jesus and barely give other churches a thought which is a waste of time.

I'm a former Protestant and New Catholic. The beauty in the Mass is unmatched. I just left and I feel so rejuvenated in my spirit! And I have a new love for Mary that the Protestant Church denied, saying ,"so what" about our Blessed Holy Queen Mother.
At the same time, they'd say that our Christian lives on earth are rehearsal for what we'll be doing in Heaven. Well then...what was Our Lady doing HERE other than serving God perfectly and bringing people to her Son?
But "so what", right? Ha! Her crowned Majesty is too humble to do it so...HA!
Protestant church doctrine rips faith right out of people! The LORD Jesus tells us that He's ACTIVE in the holy waters of baptism, and that He's ACTIVE in the Eucharist, but they say that it only represents. But Jesus told us these things in TRUTH, and for our ASSURANCE, because He keeps His promises and His word never returns ineffective.
If you're a PROTESTANT of any kind (but especially a Calvinist), LEAVE! It's demonic doctrine that leads people to doubt, deny and apostatize, because they strip God's promises bare with heterodoxical and heretical teachings with faulty 'gymnastics' then have the never to look down upon Catholics as "whores of Babylon", "the apostate Church", and "idol worshipping heretics", because THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND! THE 5 Solas are wrong! They're NOT biblical! Sola Scriptura causes them to almost completely ignore Church history - which would tell them what the ancient faith is EXACTLY - so they could be AGAINST HERESIES...but instead they defy God, formulate their own reasoning in the name of following Him, and thus become their own popes, traveling on the wrong road and leading others astray, in the name of being true to God. THIS IS THE BLASPHEMY OF CALLING GOOD EVIL AND CALLING EVIL GOOD
PETER IS THE ROCK. JESUS SAID SO.
THE HOLY SPIRIT IS WASHING AND SEALING US IN THE WATERS OF BAPTISM. JESUS SAID SO.
JESUS IS FORGIVING SINS AND RENEWING ETERNAL LIFE IN THE EUCHARIST. IF YOU DON'T EAT HIS FLESH AND DRINK HIS BLOOD, WITH FAITH IN WHAT IMMANUEL (GOD WITH US) SAYS HE'S DOING THERE, THEN YOU HAVE NO LIFE IN YOU. JESUS SAID SO.
Satan wants to knock you off of the straight and narrow road, but he won't present you with a new road to do it. He'll only make you doubt the road that God paved (the Catholic Church), and from there, when you start to doubt God, he knows you'll go your own way onto another road.
Everybody needs to be under the Pope, because that's what Christ ordained with Peter, giving him the Keys and the Chair. He sits in the place of authority over the church on earth as the Vicar of Christ, and he is our universal pastor. Since the Pope sits in Jesus' Chair, if we refuse to do what he says, then we're refusing to listen to CHRIST THE LORD, WHO LEFT HIM IN CHARGE. PERIOD.
You have to believe in the promises of Jesus or they're not YOURS! It's by FAITH! If you don't believe then it's not applied to you! You have NO ACCESS to His promises of forgiveness and eternal life if you don't obey Him, know Him rightly, and believe His words! If He promises, don't bet the house on it, throw it away! Trade in EVERYTHING for Jesus!
The Catholic Church is the ONLY church Jesus built, instituting Peter as the Pope, and He promised that evil wouldn't prevail against it! His Church will stand FOREVER, and that's THE CATHOLIC CHURCH! If you're not part of His Church then...WHO'S IS IT?!? Luther, Calvin and Zwingli didn't die to save your soul!

Catholics understand that they are outside the world, exactly that is the meaning of the word CHURCH. We operate in two realms, a physical with physical or natural laws and a spiritual realm with another kind of laws. Some saints were allowed to walk both realms at easy. For instance bilocation ( be in two places at the same time), levitation, be suspended in the air, walks the waters as St Mauro, and extraordinary strength as St Christopher. So we have this knowledge of the supernatural as nobody else and no Protestant cannot phantom. Then we know about the inter dimensional spirits called angels and they also are outside of time as God, some of those angels are hate us and want our destruction and that is why we say that we live in constant spiritual battle and Jesus Himself warned us about them and that Lucifer is the Prince of this realm. So the richness of our Faith is limitless, abundant and perfect. Still Vatican is going through very bad period right now, so we focus on Jesus and not the pope right now, we don’t follow people who doesn’t follow God, and God gave us discernment for not fall for fake prophets. Blessings Ye, great job and welcome!!!

    Following Rene Descartes meditation
    Category 1: Minds
I exist and I am a mind. Therefore Minds exist.
    Category 2: Matter
I have feelings. These feelings originate from sensors in what I call my body. The sensors are receptive to stimulation from events created from within my body and from events created from outside my body. The stuff that bring about these events I shall categorise as matter. Thus my body is also made of matter. Therefore Matter exists.
    Category 3: Space
My body needs space and matter in general needs space. Matter can exist only in space. Therefore space must exist.
    Category 4: Time
My body needs time to change and matter in general needs time for change. Matter can change only in time. Therefore time must exist.
From the above observation I conclude that these 4 categories permeate each other and exist equally with none more abstract or less abstract than another.
Now to the question of the origin of these categories
Could it be that any one or more of these categories can be made from any one or more of the remaining categories? Could these categories transform from one to another?
Matter needs space and time for its existence, therefore without space and time matter will not exist as such matter could not have been the origin of space and time.
From physics it has been observed that space and time can give rise to matter spontaneously. As such matter maybe a result of a localised change to space and time.
So then could space and time be the origin of everything else?
Again from the theory of the Big Bang all space, time and matter originated from this singular event. Therefore space and time could not alone have brought about the other categories.
Since the big bang was an event, could it be that all things are made from events?
Where there is space, time and matter there is always an event.
There can be no space , time or matter without events.
In an instant all of space and the matter is nothing more or nothing less than a set of events. So then space, time and matter is one and the same as a set of simultaneous events from one instant to the next.
From this observation the 4 categories can be reduced to 2 categories
    Category 1 : Minds
    Category 2 : Events
Now then can minds exist without events. We know that simultaneous events give rise to feeling in minds. We know from special relativity simultaneous events cannot give rise to anything physical or material. Therefore feelings cannot be physical or material. Now as feelings are a part of minds we must conclude minds are not physical.
Now can the mind exist without feelings OR does feelings create the mind, that is one and the same as the mind?
If feeling create the mind then as feelings are created by events then space, time and matter which we have concluded is the same as events, must also have feeling and thus be one and the same as a mind.
Thus we would need to conclude a rock has a mind or is part of a mind to the same extent that my brain is a mind or is part of a mind.
This conclusion is not palatable as such let’s consider the OTHER alternative
Now if a mind can exist without feeling then we also know that the mind can create events. (e.g throw a rock, move a finger)
So then given that the mind can create events then the big bang (The Event) could have originated from The Mind in order to evoke feelings in other minds.
These other minds may have also been created by The Mind such that
the earthly life of each mind is the big bang that determines the eternal or heavenly life of that mind in The Mind.

"Thoughts" and The concept of God
Usage of the word "Thought" in this post is taken to mean anything that is part of a humans conscious experience. Under this definition a sound heard is a thought as much the thoughts going to solve a mathematical puzzle.
Based on the above definition it can be said that all of humanities knowledge consist of "thoughts". For anything to be known by a human it must become a "thought".
In the context of such a definition of "thoughts"
The set of all "thoughts" would fit the concept of God. If you accept Mathematical Platonism then God would exist
The concept of God entails a single entity that has the following properties
Wisdom: The set of all thoughts will contain the perfect answer to every possible question
Infinitude: The set of all thoughts will have an infinite amount of thoughts
Sovereignty: There can be no thought that is not an element of the set of thoughts
Omniscience:The set of all thought is all knowing as it contains all thoughts.

Do not separate Jesus and the Church
Because Jesus is the head of the Church and the Church is His body. what the Church leaders ought us to do, it's from Jesus Himself. In fact Jesus affirmed the authority of the Church as equal to the authority in heaven. "....whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, whatever you loose on earth will be lose in heaven" (Matthew 16:18-19) that's a strong statement of authority given to the church.

      @@waynecornell-w5u. Hahahaha.... Pray to Mary?
What does pray means? pray means to ask in old english. Prayer and Worship are not equal.
Asking prayers to any other christian members is being encourage.
PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER (James 5:16)
PRAY FOR ALL PEOPLE (1 Timothy 2:1-2)
KEEP ON PRAYING FOR ALL THE LORD'S PEOPLE (Ephesians 6:18)
      And so many more.....
So if praying for other people does not avai anything my dear, why it is being encourage?? So if there is something good out of praying other people then tell me why do you think it is wrong to ask prayers to your co-chtistian? Mary is a christian so you and me. We are God's people and we are urge to pray for one another. If I pray for you, would it ve useless before the Lord? If you pray for me, will God hids His face and neglect you prayer? If not, and God is willing to listen to each ofcour prayer then it is never wrong to ask prayers from one another.
Now, you might go and proceed, is Mary alive? Mary is dead. No way she could hear our prayers.
I'll answer you the same way Jesus answered the pharisees. "God is God of Abraham, God of Isaac, and God of Jacob. He is not God of the dead, He is God of the living" (Luke 20:37) but it may not make sense to your literal mind because those name Jesus mentioned are even more dead than Mary. but Jesus proceed by saying " ...He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, FOR TO HIM ALL ARE ALIVE" that means, isn't it the promise of Jesus? Whoever believes in Him shall never die? and take note the present perfect tense of the WORD BELIEVES which denotes that until death you kept the faith and surely you'll get you reward. And what reward? Eternal life. Means not dead at all. and even if you died you shall live (John 11:25-26)
we became victor when Jesus finally paid the ultimate price. Death is no longer the end. death is just the beginning. If someone died in the flesh as a christian, it doesnt mean that you will become a non-christian because of your death. In fact even death cannot separate us from the love of God in Christ (Romans 8:38-39). Those who died in Christ are more alive than you think. God is God of the living.
Now if they are alive and with Jesus in heaven. Surely they are still member of the same church. In fact they are our family in heaven (Ephesian 3:15) and a family prays together and stays together.
but I understand if you are not confident in asking Mary or any of your bothers and sisters in heaven. Because you are not even part of the family.
Your family belongs to the people who believe that death is powerful and Christ sacrifice was useless. so go ahead and pray to the father of death.

One of the biggest critiques of all Western Europe Protestantism, the one that proves it to be completely and utterly false .
The Catholic Church is not the only apostolic church . Ethiopia is the world’s first Christian nation , never in communion with Rome as it grew organically when st Matthew went there and was martyred. Same with st Thomas traveling to India . The disciples when out into the world . Today we have many apostolic churches from Assyrian to Coptic to Catholic to Greek Orthodox to Ethiopian .
While higher level theology differs , we all believe in the teachings Jesus gave us through his blessed apostles . The real presence of Christ in the Eucharist. The role of Mary as Mother of God . The confession of sins to a priest . The role of the saints in our lives .
Separated by hundreds of years , thousands of miles , before communication ,
We all believe and still do believe the same .
So my friend , are all of Jesus apostles wrong , or , is Protestantism ?
What they did, was they removed the spirit from our great faith . And this is why modern Europeans and Americans look to the far east for spiritual growth .

Christ never created any denominations least of all a cult greedy for power and mamon. As Christ said " Where two or more are gathered in my Name, there I shall be among them"
    Any church, anywhere, any time.

Just because someone says he/she is Catholic it does not mean they live out the catholic teachings and Faith. We have saints and we have sinners. Go to primary sources to find out what the Catholic Faith is all about. After all it is the Church which Christ Himself instituted so it cannot be what a rude or ignorant « catholic » makes you think that Church is.

I thoroughly agree, we all need to reflect on the divine mysteries and on scripture to further our relationships with our Lord

Matt. 13:47-50 - God’s plan is that the Church (the kingdom of heaven) is a net which catches fish of every kind, good and bad. God revealed this to us so that we will not get discouraged by the sinfulness of the Church’s members.
