I also converted to the Catholic faith ten years ago. I went through the annulment process. I was married in the Catholic Church six years ago. My wife’s family are all Catholic. My Protestant relatives have accepted me being Catholic now. The fact is that Protestantism is fragmenting and slowly dissolving, unless you are fixed in a certain sect or denomination. Interest in the ancient liturgy is growing! 😊😊😊❤❤❤
Excellent! And each denomination's beliefs have changed. Birth control. Divorce and remarriage. Same sex unions. Transgenderism. Drug use. You name it.
@johnalexis8284 as Catholic Christians, we are born again at baptism, of both water and Spirit! Peace always in Jesus Christ our Great and Kind God and Savior, He whose Flesh is true food and Blood true drink!!
@johnalexis8284 "Unless one is born of BOTH WATER AND SPIRIT, one cannot enter the kingdom ". You are in my prayers as you journey toward Truth! Peace always in Jesus Christ our Great and Kind God and Savior, He whose Flesh is true food and Blood true drink!
I am very grateful for your beautiful testimony. I am permanent Deacon and in my young years I was very involved in the Catholic Charismatic movement and i can witness that the Charismatic movement did great things in my life. Welcome home. Thank you for your love for the only true church of Christ.
:-) What an elegant analogy/metaphor. I can testify that Jesus is a powerful magnet, but sadly in my particular situation, the anxieties and the pride of life are far more powerful. If I'm being honest, my two biggest idols are myself and money. I sometimes reconsider Christ as he is not without his appeal, granted, but the pull of the hope of a good life systematically, and quickly, brings me back.
What a beautiful testimony you have. You have truly hit the jackpot by finding the fulfilment of all desires in Jesus Himself, truly found in the Eucharist and in every Eucharistic adoration chapel. As we pray the Hail Mary of the rosary, Mary prays to her son for us. It is such a beautiful reality that there is a thin veil between Heaven and earth and those in Heaven hear and pray for us. Mother Mary prayers get answered her Son consistently and she loves us from Heaven as a perfect mother. The closer to Mary, the mama, you get closer you will be to her son Jesus. It is a spiritual reality. I believe that Jesus loves Mary so much that He wants to share her with all of us. It is wonderful that you have been introduced to the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity at an early age. You have received His gifts at Baptism, sealed at Confirmation and these gifts for building up the church will continue to be stirred into flame as you stay ever so close to Jesus in His sacraments of grace. We are all commissioned as disciples of Christ to live fullness of life in the Holy Spirit. Your sweet mom would be pleasantly surprised to know that Catholics operate in spiritual gifts. We need Pentecost, the Holy Spirit!!! The Holy Spirit comes when Jesus is glorified, so He is present at the sacrifice of the Mass and when we receive Christ himself. The Holy Spirit brought you home to the Catholic Church. He will continue to lead you for everything. All praise and honour to the Lord Jesus Christ!
I came to Christ through Revival Centres Australia , a Pentecostal movement . I married and my husband who wasn’t even Catholic told me ‘I want my children raised as Catholic’ . Neither of us knew what Catholic practices looked like but after the birth of our first baby we had her baptised in the Catholic Church. Then we decided to convert. Both my husband and I being baptised and confirmed and taking our first communion together. I was afraid of the Catholic Church . But then I got to know Mary, Jesus Mother and she took me into her heart. The rest is history but it’s been quite an adventure and I am proud to say I am Catholic.
A guest who has my middle name! (Except mine is spelled the Romance language way) When we were getting prepared for Confirmation, Sister told us to choose a saint name for our confirmation name. I didn’t think about it until the last minute, so I asked my mom what my confirmation name should be, (I was 7 yrs. old) Mom was cradle Catholic but not really versed in the specifics, so she said…What do you mean?? You have a middle name already! So I told the nun Serafina was going to be my confirmation name and she gave me the side eye. She said she would have to run this by Father. This really worried me because if he said no, then what? But Father approved it, thank the Lord. And for many years I thought it was crazy that an Irish Catholic priest approved this off the wall Italian name. It was only recently that I found out a Saint Serafina actually exists. 😇
Truly a unique genuine phenomenal testimony of this woman for it’s obvious that her spiritual eyes ears heart and mind was captured and convinced through Jesus Christ and possibly his Mother Mary and of course the Holy Spirit yeah amen amen amen 🙏 🐑🕊️✨🔥
Thanks. I am RECONciled, RECONnected… no inspiring story here. I just want to sit (and stand, and kneel) in a back pew. But, the thought that the syllables, RECON, might apply to me gives me a little extra spring in my step. Semper Fi.🇺🇸
If you go to church to feel good maybe a good start but that is not Catholic. You go to a church because you know it has the fullness of the truth. Feelings are for protestants. The truth is Catholic. ❤❤
3:40 I occasionally sang Gregorian chant when I was young. Oddly enough, I did not enjoy singing it, and to this day, I still don't like listening to it. That might be a way for God to separate the wheat from the chaff! 😄
I would tell Seraphine to study the history of Jesus Church and our first centuries. We were called the Nazarinees or the people who followed the Way. Catholicism is not Bible alone because for us Sola Scritura doesn’t have any sense when we come from one point in time with one event in history and that is so much powerful that everything else. Our firsts ministers, the apostles and the Fathers of the Church and the organization and grow of the Church as the branch of Heaven or the Kingdom on Earth, and the councilors starting with the Jerusalem . Also the martyrs stories and the mysticism and the divine or spiritual world and the miracles and supernatural events. There’s so much to know that one life is not enough but the more important thing is to have a relationship with God ( aAdoration helps a lot with that) and love Him and follow His doctrine.
Being Catholic nowadays is very hard and I would say not for the faintly of heart because we live against society that push and embrace anti Christian and specially anti catholic agendas. The church used to pray for the conversion of the test of the non catholic world and now we have a pope that says that all religions are paths to God or that the miracle of the bread and the fed of 4000 people is really a symbolic passage but in reality people we “ sharing the food they had” so some Catholics are very confused, imagine the ones who want to become Catholics and that it’s why i enjoy so much to watch the testimonies of people who still want to become Catholics regardless the craziness that we are living, embracing sins that until many decades ago were still sin according to our Lord doctrine. I just came back from Rome and the jubilee thing is circus wise and propaganda. I know Bergoglio is not pro choice but he hired some pro abortion people and also Argentina, our country, abortion was illegal until he was elected pope, after that we legalize abortion, and he didn’t do anything neither excommunicate the ones in power, all allegedly “ Catholics “ they are Catholic as Biden is or Newsom or Pelosi are but they are not Catholics, you are not if you don’t live like one .
Don't be drawn by anything but doctrines. Catholic church do not obey the 10 commandments, especially the one, two, fourth, Sabbath commandment. Jesus said, "If you love me keep my commandments"
Have you noticed there is no mention of Jesus being received as Savior and Lord in this “conversion” to Catholicsim. “Something” was drawing me.” No mention of being saved from the power or penalty of sin. This is an example of choosing a religion rather than receiving Salvation in Christ Jesus said you must repent and be BORN AGAIN not become Catholic, Methodist or Lutheran
Brother! Religion it's a Latin word (Religare)which means God's relationship with Men, Isaias 7,14 Behold a virgin should conceive, and bear a son and his name should be called Immanuel = God with Us ❤
@ This Holy God can only have relationship with men who have repented of their sin and trusted in Christ alone to redeem cleanse, sanctify and and save. Nothing unholy or defiled will come into his presence, brother. Many religions claiming to be right. Only one relationship that can redeem us. I am the way the truth and the life. No man cometh unto the Father but by Me. (Jesus) Not Mary, the saints or angels. Joining church will not save us from our sin’s just penaltyYou must be born again
False dichotomy!!! I was telling my friend my story the other day about my big catch of a large mouth Bass and how excited i was. His response was, “so are you no longer the biggest Yankees fan?” 🤦♂
@@douggreenway7283 You are certainly welcome to believe and profess whatever you want to believe, there are plenty of differing beliefs in the world today based on the Bible, just pick one. But to glean this from the historically decidedly Catholic Trinitarian book is just plain frivolous… History shows us that Jesus didn't leave us a bible, - the apostles didn't tell us which books belong in the bible, - the church fathers never agreed on the 27 books, and ONLY the 27 books of the NT through the 4th century, - not only did they not agree but their individual lists of would-be NT canons were GROWING during this time. Therefore, if it wasn't the Catholic/Orthodox church, guided by the Holy Spirit, that compiled the 27 books of the NT in the 4th century, and preserved these scriptures by laboriously hand copying them over and over throughout the centuries before the invention of the printing press, the “rule of faith” for many, please tell us who did? And if this church no longer exists today, what good is the text which came forth from her if she couldn't sustain herself? Peace!!!
My story is from cancer to catholism!! It has been amazing!
wow!
Would love to hear that one! Praise God!

I was lukewarm until I submitted to the baptism in the Holy Spirit. No looking back.
When asked why did I return to the Catholic Church, it’s because Jesus is a mighty magnet and I am a tiny pin!
