Couldn’t agree more. Prince’s solo is a good one but this one just nails the feeling 100%. Having said that, few guitarists could pull blues notes like Gary.
No one plays better than Gary Moore. He is the one of the a few best Blue, Jazz, Rock, Hard Rock and Heavy Metal Guitar players in the world since Jimmy Hendrix passed away.
Don't know if everyone noticed, when, in the beggining of the second solo, George goes out the lights, and Gary Moore follows him, this isn't the first time that, Gary plays with someone so important and talented like he was, he shows extremely respect
I agree with everyone who's said George looks like he's beside himself with joy. And why not? Must've been a dream come true for Gary too. That smile says it all. Gary nailed the solo. Like he nailed them all. Epic....
Probably all the more special as they were friends. Over time, George has become my favorite Beatle. Just discovered Gary recently, and am blown away by him.
Although I enjoyed Eric and Princes’ playing on this song, Gary’s performance is my favorite. This is an absolute TREASURE! Saving this to my playlist. Gary rules!!!!
Prince was a selfish, self centered and egotistical child playing this. It was ALL ABOUT HIM! He wasn’t nearly as mature (mentally, emotionally or spiritually) as the other musicians that night and therefore didn’t grasp what that night was all about. It was actually a very sad scenario to witness with all that showboating.
@@TC-dw6wg "Prince was a selfish, self centered and egotistical child playing this" No, he was not. Prince did exactly the performance that the song calls for. You sound moronic and suspiciously bigoted. " and therefore didn’t grasp what that night was all about" Prince didn't "grasp what that night was all about"?? Hey, stupid, the one who didn't "grasp what that night was all about" is you! On that same night, Prince got inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame also. Moore did a fantastic job. His tone cuts through the mix and his phrasing is superb and fits the song perfectly; as memorable as Clapton's studio track.
Gary Moore felt every blooming note he played… and we, the listener, were treated to magic. ❤❤❤
Damn! Thanks 🙏🏻. The best I’ve seen. George looks so happy. He’s having fun and Gary Moore is phenomenal! To me the best solo of this song I’ve heard even though the others are great Moore’s just seems to fit what I think George was thinking.

What a humble, genuine man George Was.
George knows Gary just killed it! Look at his face
Couldn’t agree more. Prince’s solo is a good one but this one just nails the feeling 100%. Having said that, few guitarists could pull blues notes like Gary.

Prince at the Super Bowl in the rain during half time is where he killed it
No one plays better than Gary Moore. He is the one of the a few best Blue, Jazz, Rock, Hard Rock and Heavy Metal Guitar players in the world since Jimmy Hendrix passed away.
this looks like the most fun George has had playing this song.
Gary Moore, his music touched my soul like no other.
Amazing.. amazing duet..weooww..♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️👍👍👍👍
Sorry, Prince way outdid Gary Moore.
And George’s singing is out of tune, maybe bad PA.
Still, a nice document to have.
@@andyloftube And I personally disagree about Prince's solo being better due to the lack of melody especially, compared.
@@andyloftube Umm...no.
Although I enjoyed Eric and Princes’ playing on this song, Gary’s performance is my favorite. This is an absolute TREASURE! Saving this to my playlist. Gary rules!!!!
Prince did rock this s#!+ tho.
@@TC-dw6wg "Prince was a selfish, self centered and egotistical child playing this"
No, he was not. Prince did exactly the performance that the song calls for. What do you think Gary Moore is doing here, dummy? Being subtle? The whole point of the song is for the guitarist to take over to play the part of the "guitar weeping". Dummy. You sound moronic and suspiciously bigoted.
" and therefore didn’t grasp what that night was all about"
Prince didn't "grasp what that night was all about"?? Hey, stupid, the one who didn't "grasp what that night was all about" is you! On that same night, Prince got inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame also. That night was not all about George Harrison. You have NO IDEA what you are talking about! Thanks for proving you are a fool!
@@TC-dw6wg oh boo, he may have been a bit over the top but If George were there he would have been rocking out. Love Gary, Prince and, both of their versions 🤘🏻
@@TC-dw6wg No my friend, he was just Prince, uniq as Gary was,...
Gary moore...mindblowing guitar perfection.
This is the best version of this song, thank you Gary
You took the words out if my mouth one of the best guitarists ever. But was never given the recognition he deserved because he was so unassuming. The great BB King invited Gary to.play with him as he said Gary was the best! He was an unassuming man and did not chase the bright lights! RIP Gary
Total respect between them. Thanks for uploading.
A GREAT version of this Anthem ! George clearly enjoying Gary's playing ! Let's "not compare" it is NOT a competition. Let's just enjoy !
George's voice is on top form here. Great performance
George and Gary together for a fantastic version of a universal masterpiece!
George Harrison’s masterpiece.
Nobody Lived Every Note like the great GM... and that's why every note Still Lives!!... 🥰 🙏
Gary Moore was always my inspiration on guitar and George was incredible 💔
holy shit by far the best live performance of this song, so much positive energy for a typically downish kind of song. George smiling and screaming after the solo is the cherry on top.
I’ve been hooked on Gary Moore since 1974 he is a totally underrated player, Gary could play anything any style and he did it spot on, Gary played with Mick Jagger and he played with travelling Wilburys the list can be long of those who Gary played with or for 😊✌️
Rare video of awesomeness
This just blew me away, never knew this existed, always thought Prince did a phenomenal job on this, but dear lord Gary Moore played this better than ive ever heard it played. WOW
Great Gary Moore"s perfomance with the guitar , it really weeps
A masterpiece. Sad this was not recorded officially! Gary as usual was mind blowing.
What a treat! Gary Moore continues to amaze me even after his passing. Great to see George's appreciation of Gary's guitar work!
Both amazing guitarists
Two legends on a glorious moment in time. Unbelieveble, magical...I love them everyone.
