Going to see a thin lizzy tribute band tomorrow night and I have never played them or seen them or a tribute band and I'm 47 so not old enough or lucky enough, but it's why I play , I may have a heart attack and die happily during the gig
I grew up in Dublin & remember seeing Phil Lynott in town. He was unmistakable. Huge black Afro. Sprayed on jeans & An Afghan coat. Well it just couldn’t be anyone else. Gone way too young 😢😊
OK I lied, so the best version was the show in Budapest, I nearly started to cry when i heard this song LIVE at the very end of the show. 1 year before Gary passed away.
Just Fantastic! There is a Phil Lynott statue in Dublin, but sadly no statue of Gary in Belfast or his adopted home of Brighton & Hove. Surely there should be!! RIP Phil and Gary. ✝️

Tears are just poring down like a waterfall! I always cry when I hear the first guitar tune on this song. But these two together, om my, it was ten times more intense! Phil singing with that cool as fuck style of his and Gary is just amazing as ever. Two beautiful, brilliant young men doing what they do best!
BRILLIANT, I saw Thin Lizzy LIVE in late 70s at Dalymount Park, Dublin, Ireland, and they were magnificent, absolutely one of the best gigs I was ever at. Rest Easy Gary and Philo, both badly missed. Thanx for all the Fab music and song.
I was at Hammersmith when Phil cam on to play out in the fields and Parisienne Walkways will never forget the reaction or the atmosphere and sound both legends missed by many
Philip's voice is great shape, master class of guitar playing from Gary...the adulation Phil receives when he comes on...why he had to go so soon, he would have had decades at the top🎶

Had the one off chance to see Gary Moore with the Greg Lake Band back in 81-2. Played this wonderful song. Have never forgotten that evening in Bath
Check out Gary with B B King doing the Thrill is Gone in a small club. Different genre but immense performance from 2 legends.
