- We leave our friends at Somers Wood Caravan Park and head north to Cumbria where we stay the night at Troutbeck Head Caravan and Motorhome Club Site. After Cadac Joe cooks us a meal we get an early night in time for the next leg of the journey to Scotland. We travel through Glencoe and arrive at Invercoe Caravan and Motorhome Park where we again spend one night before our Scottish Island Hopping Tour starts.

I like to see sites that we haven't stopped at, Troutbeck and particularly Glencoe looked magnificent!
Both sites are stunning and worth paying the little extra for. There’s a shot at the start of the next video with the Invercoe site in the sunshine as I talk to the camera about the next stage. Beautiful place 😃👍🏻🚐 Trev

You’re having a great start to your trip with your meet at Somers Wood and now Troutbeck Head, you’re at the end where we were the other year, it’s quite nice down that end isn’t it. Last time we stayed in the service end for a change (I think you and Bob were that end when we were at the end you were - if that makes any sense on the bonfire night, year before last!)
Nice site isn’t it. Hope you have an amazing rest of the trip, we love Joe’s Cadac skills, everything looks so well cooked and tasty! Some amazing scenery on your drive. Lovely sites and country. Enjoy.

Thanks for coming along with us. Pity you didn’t come over at Troutbeck. I think there was 4 units on the fully serviced pitches. I think on balance I prefer where we were this time near the farm. There’s always something going on there and better views. 👍🏻🚐 Take care 💙 Trev

Love that site! Absolutely stunning! Preferred it to Bunree. That was the pitch we were on Trev. Quite good because you get views all around from the pitch - isn’t Glencoe amazing!!

We took a week getting from home to Invercoe. It still required some long days driving but absolutely worth it once there. The views were beautiful and when the sun came out the colours were magical 😃👍🏻 Knee is improving now we are home. It’s going to take time but I am sure it’ll be fine, thank you 😃💙 Trev

This looks like a very nice camping area. Haha well if I climbed that hill, I'd be huffing and puffing a lot harder than that lol. Oh yes. Small bits of water is a nice haven for mosquitos. Sure was a beautiful drive to your next stop. Loving the view from this campground. I thought it looked familiar to me. Maybe it was an older vid of yours where I saw it before? So beautiful. That water sound is just so relaxing. Those tides sure can come in quick. Wow 5 hour ferry ride? Nice. Look forward to it.

@@jamescampbell9521 We thought Invercoe looked better than we remembered it. The trees, lawns and roads all looked well maintained and the facilities were very clean and tidy. There are a lot of new park homes on the perimeter so clearly a lot of investment has been made 😃🚐👍🏻 Trev
