Sad that Anushka put wrong word in Narendra Modi's mouth. Modi never uttered Muslim, he said Rohingya & Ghuspethia. An interviewer should never make wrong utterances, because thousands of People watching. It's a matter of contempt.
Actually I just went and heard the speech again. With reference to Manmohan Singh’s 2006 speech modiji clearly said in Rajasthan, ‘desh ki sampati par pehla Adhikar musalmano ka hain… ‘. Then he went on to say ghuspetiyo etc. please don’t accuse people of contempt. Not ok!
So he quoted mr manmohan speech he himself didn’t say that word

When he will quote he will utter the word what wass there already present in that quote.
Congress has already provided unconstitutional reservations to Muslims cutting short the quota of OBC and in the constitution it is clearly written that reservations cannot be based on religion.
Reservations are for suppressed and Muslims are not suppressed by Hindus. Muslims themselves say and history tells us that they suppressed Hindus, they were invaders.
Now ppl they all the Muslims are converts they were not the invaders then why they keep on owning that Mughals and turks are their ancestors if they are converts.
U cannot hv both ways.
Temples are governed by state govts and it's wealth is taken away. But no such restrictions are there on religious places of other religions. And we call ourselves as seculars.
So this world is full of conflicts and hypocrisy and it is not ideal so better not get stuck in what what person has said, action speaks louder than words. Modi has done nothing discriminatory against minorities so I trust him as he is more credible but congress and opposition do lot of criminal appeasement so I will never trust them.
One correction...what Modi said is not because of what Manmohan Singh said in 2006. Its because of Congress 2024 manifesto which declares wealth distribution among minorities as one of their priority. Modi was referring to Congress mindset, which time and again want to favor one community over the others.

Congress and others have already included Muslims in the various SC/ST/OBC category and have been providing them reservations at the expense of the actual community. West Bengal govt has been appointing only Muslims in this category. Besides, Indira Gandhi had earlier confiscated lands and private properties of Hindus without touching Muslim properties. Karnataka and Telangana have seen such appeasement. Why is this lady harping on and on about the PM calling a spade a spade. He has openly challenged them to deny his claim & they haven't responded. Do we really need further interpretation of the X-ray promised by Rahul Gandhi and his sister. Entire Congress eco system is screaming promising this and this lady and suhel Seth are trying to sound intellectual. If fancy English is the only criterion, i prefer Shampoo Boy Tharoor!
Modiji just restated the blatant discrimination prescribed by his opponents in clear terms in their manifesto! The litany of such vote bank politics and appeasements can’t go unexposed! Modiji did just that!

Suhelji's resonating voice is not only impressive but also impactful in his expressions. He is candid in describing about honourable pm, is insightful. Interview is relevant during elections.
Atal Bihariji was my busmate in 1963-4 when we both travelled from Maurice nagar Delhi, to Teen murti by 9.pm bus, he got down at teen murti MP quarters, while I went onto Moti Bagh, we occasionally had a brief conversation. He was very pleasant and humorous person. He was Jan sangha MP..

The lady do have a agenda simply because she intentionally suppressed what Modiji said regarding reservation on the basis of relegion. And you have to join the dots and understand the intentions of Indi Block.The dots are Manmohan Singh, The karnatak Govt attempt to give reservation by bracketing Muslims as OBC,the constant attack on Sri Ram and Ayodhya.So Mr Modi took it openly to public discourse.

Suhel Seth says "why after such a long time the ref of Manmohan Singh citation ! Then he should have taken ref from 1942, also".
In 1942 Bharat did not have its own governance, so that ref doesn't make sense, as against 2006 which is very recent and that too by the prevailing "Law making, constitution governing" Prime Minister which naturally becomes relevant to the speech given by both RaGa and Priyanka Vadra, the so depicted future PMs of Bharat (or India?)
