The running scene is hands down the funniest thing I've seen all day. I love how Rick just assumes the criminal can't run, pretending to have trouble breathing. This definitely needs to become a new trend in videos: customer reenactments!!!!!
I love these "Rick is cracked out" videos! Every once in awhile, we are treated to such an amazing display of bonkers Rick going off about everything lol. I laughed too much in this episode. What a great way to start my day here in Tokyo.
Random fact: There is a Playstation controller that came out before the original DualShock that had analogue sticks, but didn't have rumble. It's called the Dual Analogue. The easy ways to tell it apart from a DualShock is the recessed analogue sticks, and the handles are slightly longer than other official controllers.
I'm using one of those on my ps1. Because I have large hands. The analog sticks are terrible by the way, because they don't have any rubber grip on them (smooth).
About 3 years ago, I found a PS2 in a DUMPSTER at my dump. It came with all the bells and whistles, aka cords, controllers, and internet adapter...I still use it and it works GREAT. It was thrown away with a bunch of old laptops and computer junk! Noiy is not for sale RICK... but I do have a sealed MINT copy of Jurassic Park on VHS that you can buy 😂
That Wavebird receiver story reminds me of how I sold most of my Lego collection. I had a couple things posted up on FB Marketplace, a guy was interested in one of my sets for a specific Batman fig. On a whim I asked him if he was interested in other Batman figs, one thing led to another and I ended up selling 2/3 of my collection to him.
There's a special warp in Double Dragon on NES. After you clear everyone in the first part of mission one. You'll see a door open to go finish the mission. Do not go in those doors! I repeat DO NOT GO IN THOSE DOORS! Instead, go to the wall to your right, once next to the wall, just walk straight down and off the screen to the warp......... LOL.
I used to use that hidden compartment in the back of the PlayStation 2 as a kid for hiding my stash. I don't know how, but my dad eventually found out about it.
Tidbit of info: Sega Genesis and Sega master system controllers work on the Atari 2600. The D pad and B button will be what you use on games that used the joystick.
did you know that if your best friend accidentally spills a full glass of pepsi on your nes in the summer of 1988, it will take until early 1989 for it to start working again miraculously?
Video game tidbit: when Atari went bankrupt they sold the molds for the Jaguar to a dental imaging company, so you might have had X-rays taken from a machine that looks like an Atari Jaguar. They had a memory expansion pack that plugged into the cartridge slot. The machine was called the Imagin Hotrod.
Michael was giving pure Robert Stack vibes, loved it 😎🤟 Also, I used to remove the back cover on my fat ps2 and hide "things" in there 😂 I couldn’t have been the only one 😂
One little tidbit I learned was if your Xbox 360 S model won’t connect to the internet, get a wireless network adapter. Plug it in to the usb. And it’ll amplify your wifi signal and it’ll work again on the 360. It’s lame I know but it worked for me and if someone else needs this knowledge, hopefully it helps
Everyone's acting is great! I'm looking forward to seeing more! To answer your question, May 27th is the day Dragon Quest was released. I love the Dragon Quest series. I heard that in the North American version it was called Dragon Warrior.
I actually have a little tid-bit about the phat PS2 as well. If you have the network adapter you can actually open the back panel and install an internal HDD to store your games and saves. A lot of people actually don't know this.
I'm pretty sure that it's common knowledge for the PS3 systems but I remember being amazed when my aunt had a game store that she could eyeball what backwards compatible PS3's from a mile away. She then told me months later that if they had a card reader they were backwards compatible.
When it comes to Playstation, the PS2'S AND PS3'S really were peak Playstation gaming gens. Awesome systems, so many great games. Easy to use. Easy to store. Truly the best of that brand.
The original PlayStation 3 logo uses T-26's "Mata", which was also used in the 2002 Spider-Man movie. The movie was also a Sony production, and the SCE president mentioned the shape of the PS3 was inspired by the font.
Hi Retro Rick ! I would be interested in hearing more stories about how you deal with robberies. I'm guessing you have an inventory of over 1 million $ in your store at all time ? What was your shrink like at your latest inventory count ?
On a Switch Pro Controller if you pull back the right analog stick it shows a secret message underneath in the controller that says Thanks to all game fans
The towers on the ps2 load up are actually showing how many saves are on the memory card and the sizes of the towers represent play time and finally if you don't have a memory card in you get 0 towers
Thank you so much for supporting our local shop! Great video! We are taking a road trip to come see you all soon!
Thank you for having me in your video! It was a treat
lol, that Thief walk up by Rick was perfect 🤣
Dude, Michael was SO FUNNY in this one. I was literally lolling
In 2002, a British man named Dan Holmes loved his PS2 so much that he legally changed his name to Mr. PlayStation 2 😂
duuude, we NEED more skits! 😂 , That reenactment was epic!

8:49 I'd feel bad for the owner if he got home and realized his console was reformatted if they didn't save games to the cloud.
right no need to do that if you knew it was stolen
Best. Reenactment. Ever. Seriously also a lot of great things brought into the store too aside from that situation.
I like the thief skit lol
Rick...5'9"? Really buddy? I'm bringing a tape measure with me next time I see you🤣

That reenacment was golden. Bravo
Heyyyy bigretrogameshop gang!!! Thank you so much for buying so so much Rick you are amazing!
I love the PS2 design, so nostalgic for me. It’s why I got the skin that makes my PS5 the same “look” as the PS2
You should give that kid who blocked his "friend's" car in a free game! That was a smart move.
@ 2:43, dude would be fired immediately in my store….if he's treating the guy who signs his checks like that, hows he treating the customers-
The reenactment was amazing 😂 you dudes rules 🤘

I thought it was going to be Phoenix Resale
I have never seen SO many consoles in perfect shape before. I’m so used to seeing scratched PS2’s that I forgot how great they look when clean.
😂😂 That reenactment was great 😂!!
Loved the reenactments lol need more of those.
The re-enactment was amazing!!!
Best true crime documentary I have seen in a long time !

Rick's running away during the sketch 😂 that needs to be reused later on. Randomly inserted.
Thief rick looked like Quasimodo! 😂😂
The reenactment was good. Rick snapped his fingers and said yeah yeah hurry up that was pretty funny.

Hahaha. Same! I was always worried it would heat up and smell while in the compartment but it never did. I didn't get caught though.
Oh lordy… i already upvoted the video at Ricks knife joke…. Not knowing that this video is getting better and better by the minute. This was so funny!

SEGA stands for Service Games and was originally associated with the US Military before it was sold.
Rick running 😂😂😭😭
Dude I can't stop laughing 😂😂😂
Every Ratchet and Clank game subtitle is an adult reference. (size matters, crack in time, quest for booty, etc)
The constant reformatting of the console to stall had me weak lmaooo
Thumbs up at 2:43 for Rick’s face being clobbered 😂😂😂
3:56 made me laugh. the music in the background was timed pretty well too on that brain fart
Can't keep the poodle waiting 😂😂
did you know that if your best friend accidentally spills a full glass of pepsi on your nes in the summer of 1988, it will take until early 1989 for it to start working again miraculously?
The reenactment was awesome 😂
@0:49 cue John Denver - (Take me home) Country Roads.
I hear TMNT music within 23 seconds of the video. Already I’m IN 🎉😊

I actually never knew the logo could be turned, remember saving up to get a used ps2 at funco land back in the day. Thanks for learning me brother

To answer your question, May 27th is the day Dragon Quest was released. I love the Dragon Quest series. I heard that in the North American version it was called Dragon Warrior.

Love the motion controller as a mic in the re-enactment
Rick is the grown up version of the kid form Ryan's Toy Review
@10:10 The Original Xbox aka The Duke has cup holder designed on top of the console in the green circle.
The original PlayStation 3 logo uses T-26's "Mata", which was also used in the 2002 Spider-Man movie.
The movie was also a Sony production, and the SCE president mentioned the shape of the PS3 was inspired by the font.
Hold start and select at the same time when playing a music cd to get visulizations on a Playstation 1
The skit was fire 😂
