From the old dev presentation everyone was talking about awhile ago , the way to get bungie to improve is apathy it doesn't matter if they get good or bad attention for destiny just as long as there still interest/attention in it. It's the reason why forsaken did well was fromm the lack of interest and bungie being weeks closing from it. Just need a majority of the playerbase to lose interest to see if bungie will want to improve or change, or just let destiny die and make their new pride and joy marathon
The point you brought up of Bungie edging us and only releasing a good DLC when they are backed into a corner THAT THEY PUT THEMSELVES IN has made me think that all the recent leaks, including those from Liz were leaked BY Bungie, just to create buzz about the future seasons and try to hook us back in. I wouldn’t be surprised if half of the leaks didn’t even make it into the game. And I wouldn’t be surprised either if it actually was Bungie who leaked that, and not Liz data-mining it, because the stuff leaked sounds way too good to be true and would be an overdelivery in Bungie’s eyes.
My only problem is the dungeon key. Aside from that I've honestly liked the seasons aside from season of the chosen which was easily the worst one I can remember.
@@PocketTuna also they could put a 12 dollar option or direct purchase for the pass but I always fealt like the pass was a good deal for the story and items.
At this point, I'm honestly done with Destiny. Just too much that clearly should be earnable put in Eververse and at unreasonable prices. Game is definitely sinking like the Titanic with the amount of holes in it! Bungie will really be hit as barely anyone I know even plans to play Marathon with how Destiny 2 is being treated. The biggest thing that kicks me is how they stated to never push for overdelivering. What about underdelivering? How empty will they make a season before it's too far? Every season already is the same old stuff. Hell, this season is somewhat different with Deep Dive! If only more rewarding but Bungie would make it less rewarding and create a "Deep Dive Key" just to access the activity every weekend. How long before free raids get a Raid Key added for 10k Silver? Only way for the company to listen and learn is when wallets stop talking and their revenue gets hit **HARD**. Edit: Know what. Revenue will be hit so hard it would probably make a black hole and suck all the stupidity away and only a small amount of greed before they can get it back in the positives again to only repeat the same cycle as if not learning from previous mistakes other companies make that bring entire games to the grave.
I see this over and over again, and honestly if you are done, prove it. Quit the game. Stop playing it, stop talking about. For the majority of players it’s all talk, because they have an addiction
Honestly Final Shape will give me my final response to whether i will ever play a bungie game again. Bungie went from caring about every little detail in their games and being open with the community to being simply another soulless greedy piece of shit company who blames the players for their dumbass decisions.
Well, the community should have never accepted content vaulting. That opened to door to any bullshit they wanted to pull. Thing is, D2 at its core is great and there is no other game fitting that same gaming experience.
I say this im very excited for the final shape at the same time im not to be honest , i shove a lot of hours into destiny 2 and quite frankly im ready to leave. Bungie really need to consistent on their story telling But hay those are my takes Have a good day or night.
While it certainly is true that marathon took away resources from destiny, I don't think it's the main issue for the lack of consistently solid content. Bungie understands that the community will buy whatever they put out anyway so they have no reason to give us something that isn't cookie cutter garbage. Yet again I cannot blame people for enjoying the game because of how unique it is so I'm not sure what can really be done.

What game anymore is honestly trying to please fans? All are about making coin. Keep sending nasty messages about the game. The money won’t slow down just because kids have parents they will just buy it for them and know nothing about the game it self. We must just boo them every time they come on stage
No denying that. However, let's be honest, the amount of gamers that are always unsatisfied, whining and constantly complaining, don't make up a majority. They are a minority of incompetent players that will always complain about any game. The majority of Dsstiny players still enjoy this game and take the new challenges on, sure we complain from time to time, but we still enjoy this game. Stop giving a minority of babies the spot light
I 100% agree with you. Although I will say that the monetization practices in my opinion are just bad no matter how you slice it. The lack of bundles and how confusing it is to get into is a huge problem

To be fair, I feel that without the dungeon keys we wouldn't be getting nearly as many, well, dungeons. But it does feel pretty meh, I agree
