My brother had a 1968 the same color, hood mounted tach and black vinyl top, same black interior. His was the stock 400 but no a/c , no power steering and a 4 speed manual. He sold it and ordered a new1974 Grand Prix SJ with the S.D. 455. The Firebird was the fastest car in our neighborhood when we were kids. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
It'd be a great one to have if you're looking for a Firebird. We just posted the link to our listing in the description. www.rocksolidmotorsportsinc.com/vehicles/570/1968-pontiac-firebird-400 Let us know if you have any questions. Thanks!
Beautiful Firebird. My friend had blue 1968. But only had the 350h.o. But still fun to drive. I had a 1967 Lemans with a 400 h.o. I wish I still had it. I could retire lol
@rocksolidmotorsports always loved first gen f bodies! I own a 1968 Camaro rs, my bro in law has a 1968 Firebird 350. We're working hatd to get both back on the road by May 2025. Keep the old muscle cars rolling!
It's a greatest hits of options and day-2 upgrades. Fun car. Nothing says 1968 quite like Verdoro green AND a vinyl top. Some of the day-2 type things are the bullet side mirrors, the 455HO intake, headers, 69 style front calipers, aftermarket gauges and electric choke Edelbrock carb. Looks to me like this one is ready to drive and enjoy. Great luck with the sale! I wonder what a Verdoro is? hahaha
Nice ride, my buddy had one growing up . Kept breaking the same motor mount , we welded a chain to it😂 , it worked. He punched it coming out of a park ended up facing opposing traffic, crunch totaled. Red the top color involved in crashes, it’s true still.
Sweet ride!! Those 400's were underrated in output and were very strong runners!!
