Football-based Health, Hygiene, Well-Being & Virus Prevention Education for N. Jakarta slum areas

Supported by the FIFA Foundation, ASA Foundation has been developing a Football-based Health, Hygiene, Well-Being & Virus Prevention education development program for 100 vulnerable male and female youth from North Jakarta slum area communities.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, ASA Foundation male and female master coaches lead weekly training activities aimed at educating, empowering, and building the capacity of 52 girls and 48 boys on important health, hygiene awareness, and virus prevention education topics using the power of football whilst promoting life skills and gender equality.
The youth are regularly subjected to theory testing, practical assessments, and surveys to measure overall program impact.
Furthermore, we have trained local coaches from the slum areas to run the program activities to ensure future sustainability.
