    Thank you for your video! I followed your recipe for half the amounts and it came out amazing. It’s the first time I make bread in my less than year old self-built wood fired brick oven, but it will not be the last.

    This probably wasn't the best bread for me to make for my first ever attempt but yours looks great. First of all I think the written recipe in the notes is a little different than the text on the screen. I used every measurement from the video except for the water because it doesn't say in the video how much you used. I went with two cups as written in the notes and my dough was nowhere close to as wet as yours. In fact, it was so dry I couldn't get it to stretch like you got yours to do or to get it to ball up. It just wanted to break apart every time. I still cooked two smaller halves in my Oonie Karu 16 and it cooked on the outside but not the inside. I'd like to figure out what I did wrong in the recipe and try it again. I'm sure that's it's great bread.

      Did you cut into it hot, many bigger loves when pulled turning golden like this one if cut hot stop baking internally. There is also a thermometer trick, most bread is cooked at 200f

      The recipe in the video is totally wrong 😂 20 grams of salt is not a pinch. It will taste very bad 😂

    Beautiful loaf

  • @jimsimon5706
    @jimsimon5706 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Nice idea, but what are you doing with the shaping? Would be a better loaf if, instead of just spinning the dough around, you got some tension into it! However, it's your bread, your process, your video. Well done.

    Hi, thanks for sharing your passion! How much water do you use in a 1kg loaf? Did you have to add more heat (coals) whilst the bread was baking?

    • @nessnajnaj
      @nessnajnaj 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes, I also wonder how much water is used. Looking great bread, I will also try this ;-)

      Just slowly add water.
      If you added too much, add more flour

    I am sure you got your maths wrong in the video 20g of yeast ? And 2 cups of water for 1kg of flour? Didn't work for me

    • @XxHeavenX
      @XxHeavenX 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I think that's to much to. In the description it's written 0,25 ounce what is 7 gr for 4 cups flower what is 544gr. I don't know what he is using in the video...

    • @titanhangman

      My dough was extremely dry and wouldn't stretch. It just broke apart. I think the water amount is wrong.
