For people who need to actually haul or actually tow they are going to need a bit more suspension.

If you intend to carry a heavy trailer you really have to get a weight distribution hitch for them to compensate for that.

Future reference, your common (American at least) 1/2 ton trucks will have independent front suspension and a rear solid axle with leaf suspension. Older trucks may be different

They did in the days past but nowadays they've gotten to using coils or in the ones with the best capacity they've got bags like semi trucks

Heres a tip for truck suspensions: Most trucks have Solid Coil in the front and Solid Leaf in the Rear.

Such a great design! I personally think that is a beautiful truck! I wish I had half as much mental acuity when it comes to designing a vehicle.
Consider, I’d modify the suspension in the back to either lead or coil. Leaf spring is definitely a better choice for a truck for load capacity.
