Please reach out to either Brian Shaw or Hafthor Bjornsson with the grip gauntlet. Everyone wants to see if the world's strongest men can actually do it. Or at least see if they can man handle these stones!

I had the pleasure of visiting the NEVERsate gym earlier this month. It was the first non-commercial gym I ever got to visit, and I was really blown away by just how friendly, supportive and helpful literally everyone there was. The BEST gym I've ever been to, I hope I can visit again soon.

So Brian’s pacing thing reminds me of an Orc from Skyrim because he has a power he can use once per day that gives him extra lift damage or something like that or he could be a path of the berserker Barbarian where he suffers exhaustion if he goes into a frenzied rage.

I still remember most of these from Training Hall in Jan. - it's a lot difficult/painful than it looks. Especially the hubcap one and the blobs .
All this is perfect training for the upcoming backflips. And I base that on nothing.

Never seen anyone lift blobs with the flat side up, usually its on the bottom. Super helpful blob tip though: Grab it with your fingers on the side where the handle was cut. It makes a difference. Except for blobzilla, which has that super flat side where the handle was cut but that's because it's from a newer york legacy dumbbell and not the vintage ones. I'm by no means a blob master, but have lifted a half 100 with 7.5lbs added and own 10 blobs.

In terms of training experience ( 25 years ) and best bench press ( 270 kilos = app. 595 pounds ) , I would say , I have a rank of , let´s say... "Oberst" ( Colonel ) . > Every warrior in this army can use the military terms of his/her home-country :-)

The idea of strongmen being unfamiliar with grip implements is hilarious. Strongmen! #smallerweightjumpsforTom
I bet Brian kicks ass at backflips! He says he's nervous, but I think the fear aspect of the flip is a lot smaller for him than for most people given what he's been through. Juji, ya really pulled through, you have the grip strength of Thor!

Great vid. I am curious to know how much you guys deadlift with a normal bar compared to what you do in the first exercise. The ratio between deadlift with a normal bar and this square grip is interesting. Thanks!

Tom always a good benchmark for the average dude, I always divide his max by 2 to get what I could probably muster on grip

Juji and/or Tom: What do you guys think has been most beneficial in building Rolling Thunder strength? I've been stuck on the same max weight for weeks even though my endurance performance is going up (holding various implements for time).
