  • A skid steer with a Harley rake attachment for the renovation of my old crappy grass is gonna be the key! It was actually mostly weeds. Then once all the old grass was out we covered the area with some fresh topsoil and smoothed it out to make the area flat and level again. I even got a shot to run the Harley rake but let Alex get back in because he was way faster than me and we only had one day to get it done. Hope y’all enjoy and let me know if you have any questions!

Great video! I had my yard Harley Racked when we dug out the hill to build the detached garage and used the dirt to level the front yard. Very nice piece of equipment! Look forward to the next video.

jettech1041 this was my first time running a track loader. I’ve ran a mini skid with a Harley rake last year. It was awesome! Definitely an amazing tool that can be used to make amazing transformations! Next video should be up tomorrow evening. Thanks for watching!

Cory Miles it was badass man. Ever more cool to run it, although only for like 30 minutes haha. Alex is way faster on it.

Im actually doing this today with a rental Kubota utility tractor. The only thing is what to do with the remaining loose grass? Can I leave it and let it decompose? Im also spreading 15yrs or TS. In with the rest of the dirt n grass.

My suggestion would be get rid of as much of everything that is there as possible. 2 years later and this area is back to looking like shit. I’ll be honest. Wish I had gone down further with what I removed. I honestly should have taken like a foot of dirt out.

Would this be the correct attachment if you had a hilly yard. To grade it out and make it more flat

Hilly as in sloped real bad?? Or hilly as in mostly flat just a bunch of bumpy/rough spots??

@@ProgressiveLawnService hilly as in sloped pretty bad. One spot was where an above ground swimming pool was. And it sunk down probably 6-7 inches.

What does something like this run someone? My yard needs this bad!

I would have charged at least $4,000 for this job. The dirt bill alone was about $1,000 and I got a good deal on it.
