Great use of the drone for the trip! I did the drive just over a month ago from Indiana and it’s like seeing it from a completely different perspective up in the air, I wish I still had my drone but was able to create beautiful images with my Canon. It took me 4k miles to reach the ocean! We diverted in the way back and hit Montana and Glacier National park. 100% recommend to anyone considering going up to Tuk. I didn’t have an overlanding rig like yourself, but it can be done in almost anything with decent conditions in the summer time.I took my Lexus LS sedan and made it out just needing a new windshield, worth it!

That’s awesome that you were able to make it there and back with very little damage. I think as long as you have good tires and a decent running rig then you should be ok.

This is the episode that brings us to the pinnacle of our overlanding road trip. We made it to the Arctic Ocean. Let us know what you think and where you would like to visit or like to see us visit next.

Bravo! So is this the end of series of Tuk episodes or will there be more on the drive back? Thanks for sharing your adventure. When (and where) is the next one?

Wow what would you do if you blew a trans or engine ?!

Yeah, that would have really sucked. Which is why I made sure to do a thorough check on everything before heading out on a trip like this. One consideration would be to make sure you grab the phone number of a gas station or the last stop you made along the way in case you need to get in touch with a local if something more serious happens along the way.
