i've seen many others reacting upto this point everyone get pissed by klaus's actions.. ur understanding his perspective this is totally new.. for me. i want to see more of ur Originals reaction as u like Klaus this is his own Universe if u want to explore more of him. u gonna enjoy more
The only reason Klaus needs to have his hybrids drink human doppleganger blood to complete the transition is because of the curse Esther placed on Klaus. Esther bound Klaus’s wolf side. To unbind his wolf side, Klaus had to kill the human doppleganger in the ritual we saw in S2 TVD. If the human doppleganger died in the ritual then Klaus would have no viable blood to make hybrids. It was all part of Esther’s fail safe plan in case Klaus ever broke his curse (Klaus and Rebekah talk about this in 3x05 TVD outside the hospital (where Klaus is having Elena’s blood drained)). Elena did die in the ritual, so the curse broke. But Elena revived as a human (thanks to John’s sacrifice), so Klaus could use her blood to make hybrids (until Elena died and became a vampire). The baby never had that binding curse placed on them, so they do not create hybrids the same way their father (Klaus) does. For the baby to create hybrids a werewolf drinks the baby’s blood, the werewolf dies, then they drink the baby’s blood again to complete the transition. Then that new hybrid is sired to the baby.
It didn't work for niklaus because he was cursed with the doppelganger blood that made his werewolf side dormant it only work with hope because she wasn't cursed and didn't inherit the curse on niklaus she was able to create hybrids cause her blood was good enough but they didn't include how klaus compelled tyler to turn every full moon and it was proved that hybrids can be compelled by mikael in vampire diaries because they are still vampires and whoever said a wolf can't compelled
You do not understand Elijah's motive. He does not have anything else in his 1000 years old history other than Klaus. That is how he views the world, that is his guilt for not protecting his brother when he was a kid. it is not obsessive, it makes a lot of sense why he would feel that way.
