Hey man! Haha "long time" -- it's been a few days lol So awesome you're diving more into copy. I appreciate your feedback, and early congratulations :) It means a TON having early support as a new account!
eyyy loving the vids, ive been implementing everything. I have 1 question. In Spain, copywritting is not well known, maybe in young people watching videos, but in business owners its something out of this world, if you add that the word has no translation, game over. So, imagine i get to some old dude with a company, how do i explain someone quickly what is copywritting is? I sometimes struggle to explain it to friends... Ty in advance.
@@CarHookedVidz thanks man. Great question. A ton of business owners in North America also don’t know the term. That’s okay. Position yourself as a marketer or business growth specialist then. Explain that you help them grow their leads and get more revenue. Then when they ask how, you explain “emails” or “landing pages” or “social media copy” or “lead magnets” etc so you’ll create them a custom tailored marketing strategy and then implement the marketing (primarily through writing these different projects/assets). Does that make sense?
Maybe you could describe what you're doing for them. Everyone understands more clients, more money, more sales. You could offer to increase business or new clients by a certain amount or no pay is required. Once you are successful, ask them if they know of other business owners that might benefit from more clients, more money, and more sales.

Yeah absolutely. But you definitely need to focus a TON of effort into improving your English. You don't need to be Native English, but you have to have a high-degree of English. If business owners get the slightest hint that you're writing in English as a second language, it'll break all trust.
@@thatlauris You can land clients without sales calls. It'll be a disadvantage, for sure. But it's possible, especially using freelance platforms like Fiverr/Upwork.

Honest question- do you think a non-native English speaker can become a great copywriter in the English-speaking world?
