- Toby Keith has always been a vocal supporter of the US Troops. This has also led to some social media critics questioning his political affiliations although he himself does not want to associate this with any particular party.

KISS as a band have always stayed out of politics because their fans are on both sides of the isle. Myself I'm a Constitutional Conservative, but I know fans that are liberal. They don't bring up politics at their concerts. However they have played the National Anthem on some of their US Tours. Recited the Pledge of Allegiance on some their US Tours. Did special one off events for our Veterans. Raised money for Veteran organizations. Even though I'm MAGA, all the way, I think KISS refused for the right reason. Besides if I remember correctly they had shows in Europe that they were doing at the time so not sure the schedule would have worked anyway.

He was genuinely patriotic which has nothing to do with politics. Look up the definitions of both. That’s what made him so special and what’s wrong with our society today. He understood the difference between patriotism and politics. If people would stop confusing the issue our country wouldn’t be such a mess.

First of all mad respect for Toby Keith. Second, while I can't speak for the other artists mentioned in the video, KISS as a band doesn't get into politics like a lot of other artist/bands do. If you go to a KISS concert you will never hear them shame a fan. They never discuss politics at their shows. I however have seen them play the National Anthem and/or recite The Pledge of Allegiance with the crowd on some of the US Tours. They have done one of shows for our troops. Raised funds for Veteran Organizations. They are very Pro American and Patriotic. They just choose as a band to stay out of politics because their fans are on both sides of the political isle. They don't talk politics. Now as a Constitutional Conservative and a fan myself, it would had been cool had they did it. However I respect why they didn't. Plus if I remember correctly they were on tour in Europe and had a show, they never cancel a show, unless absolutely necessary. Gene Simmons is friends with Preaident Trump anyway.

My heart breaks that’s he’s gone to soon. I was going to see him in concert as soon as he was well and back on stage singing strong. My thoughts & prayer are with the family and his friends. Toby Keith was a Man. A Real Man. My big brother was one of the Marines who benefitted by one of Keith's performances in a war zone. Toby Keith did probably more than he ever knew for the troops he entertained. Besides an enjoyable performance, he gave them a special time, a momentary escape; he gave them happiness, peace, and a feeling of home, of inclusion. Most of all, he gave them Love and Respect. Anyone who disrespected him for that, well, I don't have the words.
