Toby has always shared his faith in many interviews. He did not wait until his death, he was a man of God every day.
We've lost many great artists in the past few years but losing Toby has hit me the hardest, they broke the mold after him...
It's crazy, I lived through 90's country and back around 2000 you really didn't think of Toby Keith as a huge 90's country artist, there was just so many. He had a dip and then he had a resurgence and I want to say at some point he became the #1 country artist or at least live touring artist and next thing you know he's got the longevity of Brooks and Dunn. The 2nd half of his career may be better than the first half. That doesn't happen often in anything.

I had to endure my younger brothers death at 23 in 89’ along with my siblings but the toughest part was watching the effects it had on my folks after they buried their youngest child. It was gut wrenching and my life had been changed for evermore. Prayers to Toby’s Family.🙏

Well said…..regret is probably the hardest thing to overcome. I had plenty of time to pick up the phone and call my mom,but rarely took the time to do it. Now she’s in Heaven. That’s the only real peace we can have….knowing we will see them again if we know Jesus. ❤

I loved Toby Keith and always will. It was my pleasure of meeting him at a Kmart out here in Las Vegas back in 1993/1994. What a great guy to have ever met up with personally. Pretty cool! He was here in Las Vegas promoting his first album! He was a great guy to talk too! I cried when he died. And found out about the cancer. It’s sad! 😞 🥲 but at least he’s in no more pain and in a better place.

What a kind comment you made. Toby was a kind man. I watched an hour’s long interview that took place fairly recently. You could tell his body was deteriorating but he had a great spirit. He talked about the OK Kids Korral that was built through his foundation. He said that he couldn’t hardly take going there as it was very difficult for him to see the sick children. I looked it up though and what a beautiful place for families that will continue on through his foundation. He did a lot and will be sorely and greatly missed.

I met Toby in 1997 at a concert in NC. HONESTLY one of the nicest Celebrities ive ever met.. only spoke for 30 seconds but i could sense his k8nd demeanor and attitude.. why is it always the best people who go first??? Fly High brotha!
We've lost a lot of the good ones as of late. 2024 isn't starting out so great, and I feel I'm echoing what I've said about the past two or three years.
Toby Keith did win. He was courageous.
I'm 71 years old and my wife is 64. She is a 3 time cancer survivor. We have seen Toby in concert 5 times and every concert will always have a special memory for us. Our hearts are truly broken over the loss of Toby. He was great in many ways and will never be forgotten. He really is the GOAT. God bless Toby and his wonderful family.

Rest easy Mr. Toby Keith. Your music helped me make great memories. I got to see him live finally in 2018. I remember as a kid hearing him on the radio and litening to that station all day seeing if they would play it again. When I saw him live it was just awesome. What a performance and also he was a gacious man and thanked the crowd for coming out, and you can tell he meant it.
What a talent and even though I didnt know him personally, by all accounts he seems like a great man to those around him. May God lift up his spirit and may he have peace with Lord Jesus Christ. Condolences to his family.

Told my wife in the morning 2 days ago when they had breaking news while i was watching the local news that he Passed away and she cried,We felt like we lost a family member,He brought this country and the world together with his music, We all knew how hard he was fighting to get back on stage and he accomplished that,God has bigger plans for him with Him,praying for his family, What a huge loss 😢
