I remember as a junior high kid waiting with anticipation for this to come on the radio so I could get a clean recording on my cassette tape and wear that tape out!
Sorry to contradict you, this world will not last 500 years, has this step with the music and general inculturation that has this generation of hastes from which does not value talent but quite the contrary, today is not valued effort, we are at a point where society is changing to worse in every way, so 500 years is a long time.
Well, back in the day it was an insane amount of work to put a studio on stage and perform dance music live. So the classic, super chessy "Fake mixing with fake playing Synthesizer" was the go to. lol
There is not much you can do when you are ordered to mime for a TV show like The Roxy. It is the same with TOTP in the UK, some singers didn't even bother opening their mouths 😂
Its amazing that people still, to this day, think "sampling" is done purely by turntables and not a Sampler. Akai s950. If in doubt, swing on the DFA knob..
Мне понравился клип. Последний из хиповых 90х. Отмороженные немного, довольно жёсткий хип хоп. Ассоциируется с сериалом полиция Майами🎉❤ много отличной музыки.

I'm sure the text across the bottom of the screen really was referring to Roadblock, that was apparently a rare groove track, undiscovered. It was in fact a new track
The turntsbles are plugged in but there are no cables connected to the output in the mixer. Are they playing wireless?😂😂.live versions should sound different always

Its crazy how the 90's actually started during the 80's...
Most decades are like that…80s started in 70s, 70s in 60s, etc.
@@rdf098311 very true ..
@@rdf098311 Yeah, e.g. The Buggles - Video Killed The Radio Star, an iconic 80s song, is from 1979
1988 I'd say
This is about as 80s as it gets
I remember as a junior high kid waiting with anticipation for this to come on the radio so I could get a clean recording on my cassette tape and wear that tape out!
I remember listening to this on an old radio for the first time in 88....I was amazed by that unique electronic sound.
I had this performance on vhs which I recorded from tv and still have the VHS. Such an ICONIC piece of London 1987 cool! - THE ROXY !
Cj Mackintosh has to be one of the best scratch Dj's I've ever seen, he literally turns a turntable into an instrument

This a breakthrough tune and song if the 80s..I loved this musyc in the late 80s, as a kid.
This song KILLED the 80s!
Having flashbacks to the club. Can see the lights, smell the beer & the sweat. Good times.

People actually had a great time during those days
C’est grâce à nos téléphones portables que l’on peut revoir ces images…
People watching this 500 years from now are gonna be in awe.
I'm in awe now!
I’d really be interested to see their reaction to our way of living in the 80’s and 90’s ;-)

Proof that “DJ’s” have been faking the funk for over 30+ years
I thought the original tune was entitled "Pop of the valium"....well this makes more sense after all.
