The song is about loneliness and the the desperation about finding someone special. But I have always felt the lyrics also are about dealing with mental illness, and finding someone who will understand you. The visuals with "bleeding black oil", have a certain resemblance to the video from Billie Eilish - when The Party's Over, which came three years later.
👍🤗but western Norwegian dialect❤️ - Wardruna/ Selvik, Aurora, Sigrid and the vocalist and songwriter in Highasakite is all from the west coast 👍🥳( east Norwegian dialect is very different)- interesting reactions, thank you 🙏
On the fence whether I liked this or not. I think I like her voice, but it's difficult to tell properly because it's quite chant-y in parts. Quite liked the backing though. I like synthy tracks 😁 I'd give them another go for sure!

its not a duo chaps . They are a band .2 of them are from the original line up and Ingrid Helene Havik is the main writer!
