She totally changed my perception of music.. With her it is beyond music.. hard to explain.. I just feel the art flowing through me.. I cry a lot listening to her songs.. it just happens.. at those bursts of emotions - I feel that this is the apprectiation of being alive and being able to experience this
Petr Milota you explained it perfectly. I'm 57 and a life long music lover and NO singer, artist, composer; NO ONE - has ever affected me and my emotions as she does. She is amazing. Simply, amazing 😍
This whole concert....or konsert....is excellent. :) Probably my favorite performance is The River at the beginning...that chorus is so unbelievably cathartic and affirming. Also....I love how in The Seed she sings 2 specific words, during the verses.....the words "Wonder" and "Live." Just...the way she pushes those high notes, somehow imparts those words with SO much profundity. It's astonishing how emotionally resonant she is as a human being. I believe every single thing she sings and says. There's not one iota of dishonesty or façade in her.
Those are her parents there at the end. When the man kissed the woman on the forehead. Such a sweet and pure experience, that performance. I wish I could experience something like this in my lifetime. Again, tears were shed.
Her parents in the audience is so adorable 😍 Also, watch the documentary that accompanied this concert where Ane Brun covers All is soft inside. Auroras’ reaction is everything.
I love the fact that Ane Brun (one of Auroras childhood influences) gives homage to her! Sooo weird how human minds work and collaberate! I can't imagine Tom Baker (4th Doctor Who) citing me as a positive influence in his life. 😊♥️ 😁
Been a huge Ane Brun fan for years. Seen her live several times in tiny clubs. So, to see her cover that song in front of Aurora was just magical. Now if these two would collab on a track, that’d be amaze balls.
I have watched a lot of reaction videos about Aurora. People are talking about her technique, about her movements and style. What I am really missing is some profound inside of her spiritual impact. What she is doing is some kind of prayer, healing without being religious. Her music, especially the parts without real lyrics, stroke your soul. There is a resonance in your spirit. That's why she is so captivating, so touching, real and true. That's why people telling about how her music helped her through dark times.... I really love her music. And her soul, her being...
I feel the same about her music, although I must admit that not from the first moment - it's not the kind of music you can listen to just in the background, with all your presence it becomes a spiritual, otherworldly experience. She is so free, so authentic that I find it impossible not to fall in love with her and to be deeply touched by her music...
This whole concert....or konsert....is excellent. :) Probably my favorite performance is The River at the beginning...that chorus is so unbelievably cathartic and affirming. Also....I love how in The Seed she sings 2 specific words, during the verses.....the words "Wonder" and "Live." Seriously.. The soundguy should get a freaking BAFTA, OSCAR and a GRAMMY for this perfomance.. It's in the middle of a freaking forest!! Just out of this world production on top of a perfect Aurora performance.. She is absolute
The concert was a surprise for Aurora to end a tv-show episode (HAIK - Aurora). The concept is that the host wants to give something back to artists that means so much to people. You should watch the whole episode. You'll get to know Aurora on a personal level. I've watched it like 10 times and I´ll still watch it for a long time! And the feeling and message of the whole episode is needed in the world right now. With English captions: th-cam.com/video/T3-EbsM1QpI/w-d-xo.html
Yes Adam, you got in hard here. Infections... This version is one of my favs. Special it is so special near the end when she get so emotional that she nearly burst. She must work real hard to come back. Thats so moving. Thats AURORA
As part of the show that featured this concert, Aurora sang a song for 2 fans privately. Check out Warrior (Haik) by Aurora. Definitely my favourite performance of hers
Tears of sorrow and tears of joy. This I can say after following this woman for six years and im soon to be sixty. I really loved your video. Thank you.
Your reaction to this is really exactly what I hoped for. The entire song is an existential, religious and emotional crescendo, peaking in the nonverbal hymn-like sequence towards the end. And then, when we almost believe the song has come to an end, comes the two phrases that put our hearts back in place again. Now padded in something warmer than before. This is a religious song in the absolute best meaning of that word. Thank you!
@@goeranm55 lol....when you said "The entire song is an existential, religious and emotional crescendo" I assumed you were talking about The River. But you could honestly say that about damn near all her songs.....
I've been crying almost whole concert. When I'm listening to her words of wisdom in her lyrics I feel sooo free. It was a cure to my mind and soul. It's a blessing she's living in current time among us and has power to spread pure love when there's so much negativity. Your content is gold and I'm here for it. Cannot wait for more!
Its so fascinating how she can bring something new and unique to every performance of a one single song. I really enjoy your reactions too. The Seed performance from Lollapalooza, Brazil is also very energetic and strong I really love it.
Two Aurora concerts and more long-form videos on the way, you’ve definitely earned a sub for your thoughtful reactions, observations, and comments. Lisa Gerrard, yes! Her work on Gladiator, The Insider, Ali, Samsara, and so many others - even Mission: Impossible 2 - really made those film scores special. Anyway, Aurora... what else is there to say? The KEXP live session mentioned here may have her best “All is Soft Inside” performance. Just completely free. At the 13 minute mark, (more) magic happens. 😁 Silja Sol should perhaps be on your future reaction/playlist along with Susanne Sundfør (you mentioned liking Pink Floyd, check out this little first track - at 2mins 39secs without anything but a still image it’s not reaction material anyway, but quite the way to start an album: th-cam.com/video/J2TdPVX3fl8/w-d-xo.html ...turn up the volume :), Angelina Jordan, Highasakite, Ina Wroldsen, Sigrid, and maybe Astrid S and others. Cheers, hope you liked the tune, and pardon the long message.
@Adam Straughan Thanks for reading it all. 😊 In my humble opinion, as you move forward with your channel (and, inevitably, start running out of or want to save the Aurora content), these artists should be of interest to the viewers - in addition to metal and other things you want to explore, if I recall correctly. Aurora knows several of the people mentioned above, the fan communities overlap, and most importantly: they all have unique voices that should make for fun reaction videos. 😁 Hope that makes sense. Several have their own HAIK concerts, but first things first, hehe. Oh, you’re a movie buff too. In that case you may know Susanne Sundfør & M83 from the Oblivion soundtrack. Sigrid was on the Justice League soundtrack. #ReleaseTheSnyderCut 😅
@Adam Straughan “The _Synder_ cut” literally translates to “the _Sinner_ cut” in Norwegian. 😮😁 Poor Zack Snyder... just kidding. Thank you for accepting the recommendations! I look forward to seeing what else you have planned for your channel.
Hello, I've been watching your Aurora videos and I just wanted to say I really appreciate them, I have a really hard time understanding speech at times but somehow when you speak it just makes a lot of sense to me. So thank you so much for making these
Great, great reaction, it has been a real pleasure and a joy to watch (again for me) this concert with you. I have seen Aurora Twice in concert, in 2016 at the Montreux Jazz Festival and in 2019 in a performing room with 500 peoples inside, it has been each time a unique and indescribable experience. She spreads Love, kindness, joy and friendship around, everybody in feels as we are a family, really out of this world or maybe like the world should be. Thank you, take care :o)
Awesome, Adam! You jump up as my new favorite! Another great way to start the day. Two concerts in a few days, what more can we ask for. Your comments are so collected and wise too. Thank you, my friend 💕
Great reaction to Infections of a Different Kind. If a person doesn't have an emotional reaction to HER singing THAT song, there's nothing in this world which can affect them and I feel sorry for them. Oh yes, Adam; "You can cry" 🙂
Amazing reaction!! I’m so happy you put the time in to listen to the full concerts. Now you HAVE to listen to the KEXP concert, she’s a force to be reckoned with during the whole performance.
Adam Straughan Also, I saw her in november in london at the roundhouse and though it wasn’t a very intimate concert everyone felt so connected and together. You feel more like a unit than a single person and it felt unreal. You definitely need to see her when she comes back
I love watching your reactions to aurora I love her so much. I love her message, her individuality, and the passion she puts in her music and performances and i love having someone to share that with it makes me feel like im among friends and we're staning her together lol
When ever this virus abates enough for musicians to tour again I'm sure the UK will be one of her first stops. Find a way to find a way and go to a show. Saw her last year at The Roundhouse I've seen alot of bands in my life but she is amazing live. I think she may be one of those once in a generation talents, this is not just simple pop music there's something else there that I haven't heard before.
Thank you again for just beeing the best framing of this painting. Watching with you and listening to this angelic human...its feeding my soul for sure❤️🙏🏼👼🏻✨🌹
Well done, sir! I thoroughly enjoyed your commentary, and watching you discover the gems you hadn't heard before. Yeah, Infections of A Different Kind, omigosh. You should watch the Haik show, that leads up to this concert. The host picks up Aurora in the morning and they go driving around town just doing different things, interacting with fans, having fun and chatting. It's totally marvelous and captivating. This concert is at the end of the day. As I'm typing this, I hear you mentioning that you plan to watch it, lol. Again, well done.
PLEASE react to it!!! It has a truncated version of the concert at the end which is ABSOLUTELY worth revisiting, but the full doco is just pure joy & healing. Aurora is a revelation and the good that she has revealed in others gives hope for the future. 😊👍
"Don't forget to dream big, that's very important." I love the way she says that. (Someone probably already said it, but that's what she says when the subtitles didn't show) Amazing reaction as always, it's so incredibly enjoyable to see you react to her, the way you take in the music and the message and how you enjoy it.
Hello, I am writing from Spain, I can understand you very well but it is difficult for me to express myself and write it. I´ve been watching Reacts to Aurora for a day because I discovered it her a few days ago and I love seeing this content when I discover a music god who has fallen in love hehe (people around me don't listen to this type of music): I reacted at the same time as you to this Live and I found it beautiful in the forest with the people and her musical goddess. Its sound is wonderful it transports you to another place. I loved the react, so long and interesting and I liked and subscribe 😍
Hey Adam! I really love your reaction, as always! thanks for your time and for your kind words, it was very moving when you got excited, because I did the same. I hope that you could react to mini documental of her, "Nothing is eternal" thank you!
And yet again I loved loved loved watching the full concert with you. I enjoy the concept of watching the whole show and reacting to it as a whole! We get into a mood together, smile and get emotional together. It feels like a warm community where all the viewers are in aw together! 🥰
Yep, stayed with you the whole time 🤗 ❤️ this concert. Thank you. You should be on the radio, great voice to listen to and commenting on top 👌 Even though I dont know you, I appreciate who you are so much.
Yes stayed with you all the way through told you you were hooked I must have found her at the same time you did. As another person said the emotions she instills in you are amazing. I find myself listening to her at work now as I'm a key worker the stress is mad but she calms me down and helps get through it. Love the reactions.
I do very much prefer the Haik to other concerts. It just seems so much more intimate, and you can obviously tell that she had an absolute ball there with everyone. She also brought her band to the socially-distanced Vertfet concert a couple months ago, where she did another mini-concert like this - only no one was there. It's very interesting, because she talks to the... well, crowd - but kind of like through a computer screen. Feels kind of like a private concert that she's holding for you, and I remember her saying some very comforting things about the state of the world. She also does a quick Q&A after as well! It's a fun show if you ever want to do yet ANOTHER Aurora concert at some point. =P
Bradford Hale This does sound interesting! I went to a ‘virtual gig’ of one of my favourite band’s - Katatonia - and it felt strange not hearing an audience cheer for them afterwards!
@@AdamStraughan Silja also performed at Vertfet concert, her solo songs, and it's also really worth watching it to get to know her a little bit better!
What a great reactionto Aurora, as always!!! :) I'd recommend you to listen to A different kind of human and Mothership, they're both from her most recent album. You talked in this video how "Infections of a different kind" was a out of the world experience, and I can't tell you how you'll feel when you listen to both of these together, Mothership is a very short track (about 2min) but wow. It literally feels like you get transported to another place after A different kind of human. I (no joke) want Mothership to be played at my funeral as I'm being laid down to my grave.
Also I should add, if you want to learn more about Aurora apart from her music, just her way of being an amazing human, check out Nothing is Eternal th-cam.com/video/4vdBorK67tk/w-d-xo.html there's also other documentaries about her, such as Into the Light (from 2015 I believe) and Once Aurora, which is the most recent one and is way lengthier that shows her journey through her touring throughout so many places and her pain and suffering from those. It really shows how much of a human being she is. but this last one would veeery surely get copystriked, since it is paid I believe outside of Norway. Yet, Nothing is Eternal just has a touch of herself, her sisters, her friends, the place she lived at, her amazing backyard (no joke) it's just the most beautiful out of these 3 imo and it's quite short (about 11min)
at the last song I just had to get up and dance. :) I love her, her music, and your reaction to her and her music. I enjoyed watching this again, and this time with you! I rarely sub to reaction channels but you got a new one.
Silja Sol is a vokal genious -she is kind of a piece of Auroras spine - Her own music is worth listen to -something between melodic punk and art-pop with Norwegian lyrics - Silja Sol is quallity
I really enjoyed your commentary alongside this incredible concert! AURORA is just amazing to me on so many levels! Since coming across her music in February, I have never tired of listening to her or watching her perform in very different venues, and I take away something new each time, that is to say, moments where her incredible voice and/or her interpretive nuances permeate my mind, almost analagous to eating truffles. I would love to see this Haik concert in the forest, or the Christmas concert she did in Nidarosdomen Cathedral in 2017, or something completely new, picked up by BBC or PBS.
Stayed all the way through, again! It's so good to see the whole consert 'together', with your thoughtful comments. If you want to do a shorter reaction, a suggestion is her newest song, Exist for love, video version. Not because the live version is not as good, but the aestetics in that video is stunningly beautiful. Along with her voice of course. Interestingly, the song were written 4 years ago, but she never felt it was ready to be released until now, in midst of the Corona situation. Video were 'homemade', with friends and relatives, costumes handmade by herself and sisters, recorded in a Corona closed theater in her home town. It's a 'different' song, seemingly a more superficial love song, but with deeper meaning underneath. Some die hard fans don't like it, because it doesn't 'sound like Aurora', others loves it. Fun fact, amongst others, there are references to Leonard Cohen in there, see if you can spot it 😉
I rarely subscribe to people anymore, but you give me good reason to subscribe to you. Aurora is probably my favorite creature on the planet and I respect anyone who takes the time to understand her and value her. You do a great job with these videos. :)
Loved your reactions :D and always a joy to see the Haik Consert again. She usaly holds big "stage" Consert, and festivals in the Spring and summer. And fall and winter she holds "intimate" concerts especially in Norway. Not hard to get a ticket here. I think she lives part time in London, so check out her website :) I have been to one of her intimate, here in my hometown, and im going to the next one :D (After the Corona ofc ). (Sorry my bad English hehe) :P
Hat off 👒 to you for reacting to the whole concert. Again great honourable reaction. Was laughing when you were copying Aurora. Saw the whole episode in December, you get to see more of Auroras personality and what she loves. Great to see it again. In the last song Aurora said: «Ikke glem å drømme stort»: don’t forget to dream big, in Bergen dialekt;) The last song «dreamer» stuck with me. I painted and wrote «don’t forget to dream big» on the wall as a reminder for 2020. Welcome to warriors and weirdos family.
I started watching this when I was about to go bed. Guess what. I watched the whole thing and I didn't regret a second of it. Didn't know this concert, even though I knew all the songs. But this was so intense and beautiful! Was a pleasure watching this along with you, Adam.
@@AdamStraughan Some of your fans may not be familiar with the amazing back-story to the recording of 'Great Gig..' at Abbey Road studios in London, in 1973 ... session singer Clare Torry, unknown to the Floyd, was called in at short notice to do "something" to fill a hole in the otherwise finished track, but she was not given any clear ideas as to what exactly the band wanted, so she improvised some wordless noises in one take and went home, thinking her "caterwauling" as she called it, would never be used. She was paid GBP 30 for her trouble. The full story in Rolling Stone magazine and a 1990 reunion recording can be found at: www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/pink-floyd-great-gig-in-the-sky-live-clare-torry-1017187/ ...R (Australia)
Hello again!! Greetings from New York State. This was a wonderful video. Even just your facial expressions show how entrancing her music can be. I highly recommend her song “Wisdom Cries”. It’s positively ethereal and heavy at the same time. Have a marvelous rest of your day!
She said - " ikkje glem å drømme stort da. Det er veldig viktig" - Don`t forget to dream big. It`s a very important. She speaks Os dialect, that is different from how people in Oslo speaking.
YEaayyy!! Another concert. Oh I LOVE this concept. I don't know about other people but this is my first time to see a concert is held in the forest and everything looked sooo magical. The tiny lamps, trees, and Aurora herself ofc. And she used soft green Hanboks, too :")) The whole episode itself was very very good and we get to know Aurora even more. I'm glad you're enjoying it!! 💚💚 p.s : you're sucked into Aurora's realm. There's no way back now, you have to stay forever 😈😂😂
You will more than likely have a chance at a more intimate consert if you go to a show in Norway whenever she decides that she's going to do it again, i presume in a few years. I believe all her tour concerts here were a lot smaller. Not saying it's the only way, because i have a feeling she likes those a lot more than the big ones anyway and might do more such as those other places too. Problem is she is also very occupied by the idea of reaching as many as possible and so i don't think she'd want to limit the size too much either
@@AdamStraughan That's really awesome. I have a video on my phone of the Tromsø concert she did on top of the mountain. It was almost as magical as HAIK. It was a free concert and all of us walked up the mountainside to be there, it was quite the experience
@@AdamStraughan Thnx, life happens... Good reACTion/review. Truly "Infections of a different kind" ;) Now when you've seen the pre to the concert, you have a better picture of Aurora, she's unapologetically herself. SO REFRESHING
Silja Sol is her name, the co singer, she has her own songs and show, mostly sings in Norwegian. Beside the show host is Ane Brun, you gone watch Ane when you see the hole HAIK show, then you have a new artist to watch:)
If you watch the entire documentary you will get the context of this event. This was the culmination of a day of surprises for Aurora, and the concert was arranged without her knowledge, with her parents, friends, fans, with a flash mob male chorus. At least that is what I made of it.
Another epic, magical and fantastic concert 🤩❤️ I really wish I was there too 🙂🙂 Always a pleasure to watch your reaction and to hear you comments. What I really appreciate is that you are not pausing during the songs, you seem so respectful. Keep up your good work 👍👍
Thanx Adam! Really enjoy your AURORA reactions! And congratulations, you are now an official AURORA fan😀 She is such a fantastic singer/songwriter/performer!!! Just love her. I can see that the KEXP Iceland gig is already recommended, so please have a look at that one too👍
I really love your reactions to Aurora! I've seen them all, and so far counted 2996 likes and 3 (probably accidental) dislikes, thats an impressive 1000:1 ratio, so I'm not the only one who likes this:-) If you want to know my favourite Aurura moment, it is a live performance of "Forgotten Love" from the norwegian talkshow Lindmo. It includes a priceless dance while singing phrases of her own made-up language. You should take a look!
I’m so happy I’ve found a new reactor for aurora I love her so much! I’m not sure if you’re a fan of Demi Lovato, but if you could react to her LIVE singing Father, Stone cold at Billboards women in music and Anyine at the Grammies. She’s truly a stunning powerhouse and has an amazing voice and a large ability to make you feel so many emotions. So many people know her just for her pop songs but she’s so amazing
So glad you reacted to this. I don't want to bust your balls, but you HAVE to react to the actual doco. It is BEAUTIFUL. I think you'll thank me. This is not a chore. It's an invitation to beauty. 😊 (Edit: Lisa Gerad comes from the same Aussie town I was born in. ((MOE, Victoria.)) Brag ALERT! 😜👍)
Thoroughly enjoyable reaction. You are able to just be in the moment as well as engaging the analytical side of your brain during her performances. You've picked up on how Aurora uses her voice not just as an instrument for lyrics, but as creator of a particular emotion or mood. There's also a certain nuance to her improvisation, and no two performances by Aurora are exactly alike.
This whole concert....or konsert....is excellent. :) Probably my favorite performance is The River at the beginning...that chorus is so unbelievably cathartic and affirming. Also....I love how in The Seed she sings 2 specific words, during the verses.....the words "Wonder" and "Live." I believe every single thing she sings and says. There's not one iota of dishonesty or façade in her.
Is the gladiator song you talked about on 43:00 "now we are free"? I didn't know there isn't lyrics to this song, it is really an amazing song. This show is magical, and always interesting comments from you, it's very nice knowing another person's interpretation from the lyrics, specially since my native language isn't english, so I tend to miss some interpretations sometimes. Nice vid as always :)
27:23 actually i read somewhere that Aurora in a concert said something about the power of this song for been sing by two woman, siggesting that it is actually about rape, most of the time she says that is a sad love song so I'm not sure, but that "are you ready" I felt it like if she is emotionally ready to sing
Amazing reaction :) love your videos. Please react to Aurora’s live performance on VEVO for “Forgotten Love”. You’ll love it, she sings in an imaginary language she made up in one part of the song, it’s lovely 😊
Adam Straughan thanks! And I think the woman you’re referring to (from Gladiator) is Imogen Heap. I definitely hear and feel similarities in Imogen and Aurora in that their voices are so angelic and effortless. If you haven’t yet heard her music, you should definitely react to it, I believe you would really like it. She is very experimental and unique, just like Aurora :)
@@JebusLight It's Lisa Gerrard who I was referring to from Gladiator th-cam.com/video/o2ZiIPEorP0/w-d-xo.html But a lot of people have mentioned Imogen Heal, I will definitely check her out! Thank you!
Hey!! I’m loving your reactions. I also get emotional with Aurora’s acoustic performance for A Different Kind of Human. When are you gonna react to the Forgotten Love VEVO performance? :)
@@AdamStraughan Imogen Heap, aside from being a top-shelf British singer and songwriter, is also much in demand as a record producer and audio engineer, which explains why she was chosen to hand Finneas O'Connell the Grammy for 'Producer of the Year, Non-Classical' in January 2020, for the Billie Eilish album 'When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?' @@AdamStraughan I mostly listen to 70's prog and art rock, but she is in my playlist too. She is an undeniable force for good and an artist who's music demands your attention. There is wisdom in her lyrics well beyond her years.
Her parents are there too.😊 Also, that’s her forest she loved to explore. Did you notice the guys who had the lyrics on his phone singing along? She said at the end that Daytime Dreamer was dedicated to her parents, who was there, and she thanked them. They were the older couple who hugged at the end and her father kissed the top of her mother’s head. A very striking couple. I think this one was so extra extra wonderful because she’s in her forest, her parents are there and she was feeling wonderful. Her mother is the one who encouraged her to sing because she said Aurora’s music was like medicine to her when she heard it. Now we know she was sooo right!!
I think that nobody has gotten into Aurora's music by accident. Her music gets into people's lives right in the moment they needed it. 💚🌱🌿
Oh wow... I think you are right....
She said "Don't forget to dream big. That is very important."(when there was no subtiles) Great reaction, I've watched both concert reactions.
Thank you! That is so fitting for her to say. What an inspiration 😁

"På ekte" of her is so amazing :) perfect and the best album of her imo
Those are her parents there at the end. When the man kissed the woman on the forehead. Such a sweet and pure experience, that performance. I wish I could experience something like this in my lifetime. Again, tears were shed.
Ahh that makes complete sense. They must be so proud of her!
Aurora is such a rare a special thing. She must be protected at all cost. Perfection personified.
AURORA and Silja Sol vocals together are perfect 🙌
Dani M They truly are!
Her parents in the audience is so adorable 😍 Also, watch the documentary that accompanied this concert where Ane Brun covers All is soft inside. Auroras’ reaction is everything.

skylineindie listening to Madrugada and Ane Brun;)

I'm a big fan of Irish Traditional Music and she has many qualities of Celtic singers, Irish and Scottish.
Yes Adam, you got in hard here. Infections... This version is one of my favs. Special it is so special near the end when she get so emotional that she nearly burst. She must work real hard to come back. Thats so moving. Thats AURORA
Thank you. Yes, she’s a moving artist!
She said at the end there. Just befor that last song. "dont forget to dream big. Thats important" Or maybe more correctly "its important"
Aurora was saying " don't forget to dream big - that is very important".
Thank you for your beautiful reactions!
I was one of the lucky in the audience of this concert and I am so deeply grateful for the experience
As part of the show that featured this concert, Aurora sang a song for 2 fans privately. Check out Warrior (Haik) by Aurora. Definitely my favourite performance of hers
I will he watching the documentary too 😁 Thank you!

YESSSSS!
✊😁
Thank You Aurora...and Thank You Adam for sharing with us...the Proud Warriors and Weirdos.
Tears of sorrow and tears of joy. This I can say after following this woman for six years and im soon to be sixty. I really loved your video. Thank you.
Thank you my lovely!
Thank you!
Talking about infections here of course...
Kunde inte sagt det bättre själv. Ha de' 💚💚
This was a beautiful song. I’m pleased to have heard it. Thank you!
@@goeranm55 lol....when you said "The entire song is an existential, religious and emotional crescendo" I assumed you were talking about The River.
But you could honestly say that about damn near all her songs.....
Honestly one of the best reactions I’ve ever seen I could really see you feeling everything she said
Ester Trussardi Thank you! 😊
ISTG Aurora just heals my soul whenever I listen to her songs TT
It's amazing. She has so many different styles to her. Fast and slow, heavy and light, deep and carefree. But every song still makes me cry.
Thanks again. I love these concerts. A lot more fun to watch it again with someone.
Yea, you should definitively do the documentary for HAIK as well.
Erik Olne Thanks man! The documentary is on my list too 😊
I've been crying almost whole concert. When I'm listening to her words of wisdom in her lyrics I feel sooo free. It was a cure to my mind and soul. It's a blessing she's living in current time among us and has power to spread pure love when there's so much negativity. Your content is gold and I'm here for it. Cannot wait for more!
Jakub Bolesta Thank you so much!
Another great reaction! Thanks for watching the entire Haik concert. There has never been a location better suited for Aurora.
Its so fascinating how she can bring something new and unique to every performance of a one single song. I really enjoy your reactions too. The Seed performance from Lollapalooza, Brazil is also very energetic and strong I really love it.
Thank you so much!
Silja Sol should perhaps be on your future reaction/playlist along with Susanne Sundfør (you mentioned liking Pink Floyd, check out this little first track - at 2mins 39secs without anything but a still image it’s not reaction material anyway, but quite the way to start an album: th-cam.com/video/J2TdPVX3fl8/w-d-xo.html ...turn up the volume :), Angelina Jordan, Highasakite, Ina Wroldsen, Sigrid, and maybe Astrid S and others. Cheers, hope you liked the tune, and pardon the long message.
Mjølnir Thank you very much for your kind words and longer message! I will definitely check out your recommendations! 😁
@Adam Straughan Thanks for reading it all. 😊
In my humble opinion, as you move forward with your channel (and, inevitably, start running out of or want to save the Aurora content), these artists should be of interest to the viewers - in addition to metal and other things you want to explore, if I recall correctly.
Mjølnir Haha, yes I am ready for TheSynderCut too 😁 Thank you for your recommendations! I’ll be sure to check them out going forward!
@Adam Straughan “The _Synder_ cut” literally translates to “the _Sinner_ cut” in Norwegian. 😮😁 Poor Zack Snyder... just kidding. Thank you for accepting the recommendations! I look forward to seeing what else you have planned for your channel.
Mjølnir Oh really? That’s so funny 😂 And thank you!
Hello, I've been watching your Aurora videos and I just wanted to say I really appreciate them, I have a really hard time understanding speech at times but somehow when you speak it just makes a lot of sense to me. So thank you so much for making these
Ceiba Nichim-Luta Thank you so much for this comment! It’s really made my day! 😊
It was amazing to watch and listen to Aurora with you. Your reactions are the best! 🥰
Thank you so much! 😊
Awesome, Adam! You jump up as my new favorite! Another great way to start the day. Two concerts in a few days, what more can we ask for. Your comments are so collected and wise too. Thank you, my friend 💕
Ahh thank you! Honestly that means a lot to me. Really appreciate it 😊
Great reaction to Infections of a Different Kind. If a person doesn't have an emotional reaction to HER singing THAT song, there's nothing in this world which can affect them and I feel sorry for them.
Oh yes, Adam; "You can cry" 🙂
Thank you! I appreciate that 😊
Amazing reaction!! I’m so happy you put the time in to listen to the full concerts. Now you HAVE to listen to the KEXP concert, she’s a force to be reckoned with during the whole performance.
Indyisnotokay Thank you! I certainly will do 😊
Adam Straughan Also, I saw her in november in london at the roundhouse and though it wasn’t a very intimate concert everyone felt so connected and together.
Ahh thank you!! She is such an incredible performer!
Thank you so much! What a lovely comment! 😊
She is incredible singing live, like wow! Especially The Seed and Infections of a Different Kind. Wow, just wow!
It was better watching it with someone else. I think this makes my fifth or sixth viewing. 👍👍👍
Awh thank you!
Haha thank you! And yes indeed, I will be watching it!
(Someone probably already said it, but that's what she says when the subtitles didn't show)
Amazing reaction as always, it's so incredibly enjoyable to see you react to her, the way you take in the music and the message and how you enjoy it.
Morsilva Thank you very much!
Hello, I am writing from Spain, I can understand you very well but it is difficult for me to express myself and write it.
I´ve been watching Reacts to Aurora for a day because I discovered it her a few days ago and I love seeing this content when I discover a music god who has fallen in love hehe (people around me don't listen to this type of music):
I reacted at the same time as you to this Live and I found it beautiful in the forest with the people and her musical goddess. Its sound is wonderful it transports you to another place.
I loved the react, so long and interesting and I liked and subscribe 😍
Hey Adam! I really love your reaction, as always! thanks for your time and for your kind words,
it was very moving when you got excited, because I did the same.
I hope that you could react to mini documental of her, "Nothing is eternal" thank you!
Thank you for your kind words! I will certainly check it out!
And yet again I loved loved loved watching the full concert with you. I enjoy the concept of watching the whole show and reacting to it as a whole! We get into a mood together, smile and get emotional together. It feels like a warm community where all the viewers are in aw together! 🥰
Awh that’s amazing! I love to hear that! 😊
Yep, stayed with you the whole time 🤗 ❤️ this concert. Thank you. You should be on the radio, great voice to listen to and commenting on top 👌 Even though I dont know you, I appreciate who you are so much.
Heniz Love That’s such an amazing comment, thank you so much! 😁
Yes stayed with you all the way through told you you were hooked I must have found her at the same time you did. As another person said the emotions she instills in you are amazing. I find myself listening to her at work now as I'm a key worker the stress is mad but she calms me down and helps get through it. Love the reactions.
I respect you for working during this time! And I’m pleased to hear that you’ve found an escape in Aurora to feel at peace 😊
Dear Adam - thank you SO much for introducing me/all of us to this beautyfull artist and her stunning music, songs and lyrics
one thing i love about her is she truly hugs you, not the distant hug that so many people do.
Hi Adam! Thanks you again for the beautiful reaction.. Now u only miss the 2 kexp shorts concerts and u have done the holy trinity of aurora 😂😂
Kurai Akuma Haha this is true! I have to complete the set! 😁
There are many songs in the kexp that u have not listened and many are very upbeat! And aurora's dance moves are soo adorable
Best "The Seed" live perfom because of surprise support power from audiens, really nice. 🥰
I'd recommend you to listen to A different kind of human and Mothership, they're both from her most recent album.
Wow! That’s amazing to hear the reaction that music has on you! I’ll give them a listen! 😊
Also I should add, if you want to learn more about Aurora apart from her music, just her way of being an amazing human, check out Nothing is Eternal th-cam.com/video/4vdBorK67tk/w-d-xo.html
there's also other documentaries about her, such as Into the Light (from 2015 I believe) and Once Aurora, which is the most recent one and is way lengthier that shows her journey through her touring throughout so many places and her pain and suffering from those.
Aww thank you for your kind words!
Silja Sol is a vokal genious -she is kind of a piece of Auroras spine - Her own music is worth listen to -something between melodic punk and art-pop with Norwegian lyrics - Silja Sol is quallity
Yeah it took me a while to get used to her sound and language, but once i reached that, i found myself enjoying and vibing her songs really hard.
Thank you! Yeah I’m destined to see her live after these amazing concerts, right?
Fun fact, amongst others, there are references to Leonard Cohen in there, see if you can spot it 😉
Ahh brilliant! Thank you for your lovely comments! I’ll look out for the references!
I rarely subscribe to people anymore, but you give me good reason to subscribe to you. Aurora is probably my favorite creature on the planet and I respect anyone who takes the time to understand her and value her. You do a great job with these videos. :)
Thank you so much! I really appreciate you subscribing and your kind words 😁

Back to watch this again Adam. Love it.
I don't know why, but Auroras music brings me to tears over and over again. Her live performances are out of this world.

Oh, that referance to the "Big Gig In The Sky" Love that.
Great song, right? 😊
Yeeeesssss!!
The full story in Rolling Stone magazine and a 1990 reunion recording can be found at: www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/pink-floyd-great-gig-in-the-sky-live-clare-torry-1017187/ ...R (Australia)

her music has touched so many souls, i started crying already during the first song 😄she is just an amazing person and artist 💚🌲🌿🌻✨

p.s : you're sucked into Aurora's realm. There's no way back now, you have to stay forever 😈😂😂
Haha I love the realm of Aurora now! I’m not going anywhere 😁
"Don't forget to dream big. That's important"
I think seeing her in Norway would be the ultimate concert for me! I’m yet to visit, but I plan to!
@@AdamStraughan That's really awesome. I have a video on my phone of the Tromsø concert she did on top of the mountain. It was almost as magical as HAIK. It was a free concert and all of us walked up the mountainside to be there, it was quite the experience

Thank you! I really appreciate your comments! 😊

@@AdamStraughan .. I guess, if I have too 🤣😊
This whole concert....or konsert....is excellent. :)
Probably my favorite performance is The River at the beginning...that chorus is so unbelievably cathartic and affirming.
Also....I love how in The Seed she sings 2 specific words, during the verses.....the words "Wonder" and "Live."
Just...the way she pushes those high notes, somehow imparts those words with SO much profundity. It's astonishing how emotionally resonant she is as a human being. I believe every single thing she sings and says. There's not one iota of dishonesty or façade in her.
Ah I'm so early😄😄😄 this concert I re watch so many times. So mesmerizing. I love her so much.
She’s incredible!
The sound technician should get a Grammy for best live sound ever!
Beautiful thoughts and feelings
27:23 actually i read somewhere that Aurora in a concert said something about the power of this song for been sing by two woman, siggesting that it is actually about rape, most of the time she says that is a sad love song so I'm not sure, but that "are you ready" I felt it like if she is emotionally ready to sing
Ahhh really? I love getting to know the context of songs and moments like this. It makes complete sense. Thank you!
yes i also heard it was about sexual assault. It’s such a sad yet powerful call for justice

Adam Straughan thanks! And I think the woman you’re referring to (from Gladiator) is Imogen Heap.
