    It is so nice to see you are addressing to the problems people are experiencing and reporting in Slack channels!

      Did you check out the studio tour we did last year? Pedro talked a little bit about the coffee setup ☕️

    I have Option + left/right arrows to move windows left and right, I love that if I keep hitting the arrow the window cycles through the sizes accordingly. So hold option and one tap -> sets the window to half screen right, the second tap sets it to last third etc. Then up and down arrows for max / min

    I love these videos and my favourites are interviews with users showing their setups. The best thing about them is how both Pedro and the guest can come up with new stuff "on the fly" just because they're discussing it. Hey & btw, in the very beginning of this video, I saw an interface I didn't recognise really. It says "Arc" in the menu bar but that's a ...web browser, and here I could see a sidebar similar to email apps, then another sidebar to the right.. don't get, and I'm so curious.. Thanks!

    Hi, thanks for the tips! Can a "smart" case option for snippets be added? for example "it's", it can automatically become "IT'S", "It's" based on the case of the keyword that you're typing. I was used to Mac text replacements which do that.

    The inline Emoji picker is a solution to part of a bigger problem with Raycast. Using Raycast features while inside other commands. Often while using commands I've wanted to access my clipboard history for instance, but this takes me out of the current command. Searching menu items is a game changer.

    • @raycastapp
      @raycastapp  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes, the Raycast-within-Raycast problem is something we’ve been looking into! Expect a solution for the clipboard history issue you mentioned in the near future 🔮

    Also I bet your head is heavy af and it's difficult to hold it straight all the time. Wish my head too was filled with so much brain that it's actually hurting my neck. Unfortunately tho it's that full with brain power nor heavy.

    I wish the move window command would allow to set a gutter around the window. I like to allow my windows to not touch the edges of the screen and instead have a few pixels of the desktop to show between windows and the edge of the screen.

    • @raycastapp
      @raycastapp  ปีที่แล้ว

      Here’s the 10th trick then: it does! 😄 There’s a “gap” setting in the Window Management commands group that allows you to specify exactly what you need.

    Feature Idea : It would be cool to have a real "history" feature, where all the commands and triggers would be displayed in order. (Like the calculator history but for all commands).
    Out of that we could extract analytics of usage and most used commands / triggers / actions.... In order to optimise the workflow.

    • @raycastapp
      @raycastapp  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If that helps: in the root search, when you press the up arrow (much like in the Terminal or the AI Chat), you can browse through a compact history of your previous commands and searches 💡

      Yes I know that, but not really nice to use as you cannot navigate back and forth. (If I do two times up, and want to go back to the previous, down would make me focus on the raycast favorites or suggestions bellow).

    Can you make the way that Mac Application like Firefox can be switched between its windows. In case when you have browser windows at two screens. MacOS can only switch to another app. Very frustrating. Thank you

    • @sebizbir

      partially I would say, sometimes it sees one sometimes few windows (same browser), depends if window is on Top. a bug? Anyway - ideally to see it like under native shortcut cmd+Tab

    Why not merge snippets and clipboard manager?

    • @raycastapp
      @raycastapp  ปีที่แล้ว

      We view the Clipboard History as as ephemeral collection, and Snippets as a quick-access list you intentionally put together. They’re two different features that work quite well together, but with different enough use cases to be housed in separate commands. 😄
