I am an interior designer (American) and I get asked by clients all the time what one thing do I recommend to spruce up a space and I ALWAYS tell them that if you spend money on just one thing it should be a variety of paints. Paint can work design miracles and make old things look new, tired things look fresh and literally change a space for a relatively small amount of money! Can't agree more. I managed a paint department in a hardware store for 14 years. People would show me pictures of their projects completed. It would make my heart sing to see the satisfaction on their beautiful faces.

Cranes bill geranium are indigo sort of colour, full and very pretty, the bees love them. I've not seen one like yours before it very dainty and sweet.

Your garden just gets prettier and prettier. I love nothing more than pottering in the garden and finding some unexpected flower has burst open. You reminded me, I need to go and pick some sweetpeas to bring inside, their scent fills a room so quickly and of course the more we pick them the more flowers we get.

You are so right to be cautious, I almost got caught in a scam from one of my favourite gardeners on you tube, they kept on for hours and I really thought I was talking to that particular gardener, they had asked me to pay postage for a spectacular give away on Telegram, which I hadn’t heard of before, luckily I mentioned the name of the gardeners dog and got a question mark back , so got really suspicious, I’m 75 but not normally gullible and I did delete everything as soon as I realised, I’m just sending this comment to reinforce what you were saying so your listeners will be aware of why you were being careful to make them aware. That said I loved watching you paint those things the colours were gorgeous . ❤️
Lovely cosy vlog. I LOVE your garden.. it is so cosy and a real cottage garden. I have fenal.. it grows 2m high.. it is bushy and has come back every year for 8yrs now.. I let it flower and I leave the seeds for the birds.. the birds love them in Autumn when there is not much else to eat around.😊

Wonderful geraniums. I have planted white ones and they are huge. I used to think they were hard to grow, but they just thrive for me.

On the wonky lupine, here in Wisconsin USA Zone 5, my lupines grow crooked when they are lacking water. 😂 Hard to tell what they want sometime. Still a gorgeous plant though.

Hey, I know book station in ireland ship internationally and the postage isn't too bad, I know some people in Australia who used them and found them to be okay and quicker than normal post.
When I was a divorced-single-mom-university student the one way I spruced up my apartment: thrift shop and dumpster finds...and paint (spray paint or whatever was at Habitat for Humanity in sample pots).
Pleasantly surprised to see that I had an Instagram I forgot about, lol. Quickly followed you and Joanne as well as commented for the giveaway. Also added more of my faves such as Karen, Mr. Carrington, and of course Gardner's World. 😊🌷🌼🌻

This is my first year growing them so I can't wait to see how they are going to do. I also loved the color you painted your chair. It fits well with the different variations of green from the plants.
