Our caravan is next to the lake 🥰 but nothing is ever simple …the people that had the spot before left years of rubbish behind and we didn’t imagine have to clean it all away 😂 so our caravan is not level and the awning is not up 😮. But the area is clear and my imagination is going crazy . The weather is not looking good for the rest of the week but come the weekend we will be levelling the ground for the awning…. Then the planting will begin, my wish for an area to enjoy is coming true. Your inspirational videos give me so much joy. Take care x

For the 1st time, we have a black brids nest next to the kitchen window. The eggs have hatched, and the baby black brids are growing well . Its so lovely seeing them being fed 😍
Happy Easter. Frost warnings again for tonight here; but most of the flowering trees are in full bloom and beautiful. I live near one of the largest apple growing areas in the US. There is nothing more beautiful than a ride through the hills and valleys filled with apple blossoms in the first week of May. It is just glorious!
We planted all our vegetables this weekend, and the hubby mowed the lawns, composter, and brown bin full. Brown was collected today, so it's all nice and tidy now xx

Hope you enjoyed a Happy Easter! The garden's looking good already with the spring flowers doing their thing and it's so nice to be outside without the winter layers. You may find using some knot preparation/paint on the wooden chairs will stop them from showing through, lovely shade of green.

Hi Catherine, I've just caught up on your last 5 videos. I've been sick went on a cruise to New Zealand and then sick again. You are my ray of sunshine, you pick me up when I feel down and also when I feel good. In Australia we just call red hot pokers by that name not the botanical name. I really didn't think you planted that many tulips in the sunflower garden 😂. Later you said 80 so I'm about to order my bulbs and put them in my husband's veggie patch because yours looks amazing. ♥♥♥

As I'm a glutton for punishment, yesterday I rewatched the sad news video of Blondies' passing but at the start you do a garden update and it's then where you planted the mini crocuses to make a 'wild area' - these are the ones you recently stepped on as you forgot you'd planted them there. Just so you know now the date of when these were planted.
The tulips are lovely. I'm pleased to have a good selection too as all my daffs came up blind this year for some reason. I had a wild teasel appear in the front garden. I didn't know what it was so left it until I realised what it was.. 😀 Very prickly but lovely
Hello Catherine and all viewers ... I deathheaded all Hydrangea's ... I have forthy ...they came with the garden , but it's so pretty in Summer .. And sowing the vegetables in the raised beds so I hope for sunny days after this week . We get a lot of rain again in the Netherlands ...so I get bits done when I can on dry days . I'm still totally in love with the greenhouse .. But we are not sure if the allotments will be there after 2028 , because the city wants the grouns to build on . Not a good time to invest until we know more about these plans ... For now , I will be growing as usual and looking forward to real Spring weather ... Happy Easter !

It's all looking fantastic, all that hard work has paid off. Loving the colour of the chairs, just the shade I am looking for. I painted mine last year with a shade that was meant to be green but it was so pale it was more white, did some stencil designs on them, but I really fancy doing them same colour as yours.
