I really like his use of effects . He’s got away from the dry jazz guitar sound and really stamped his mark as one of the most innovative guitarists today . .. excellent big band they swing
I love how bouncy this version is. Very much more upbeat than the studio version. I also love the studio version because it’s a bit obscure. The song is a bit obscure
This guitar is Moffa Mythra semi-solid. Made by Domenico Moffa, an italian luthier. He has made several guitars for Kurt through the years. Also for the likes of Muthspiel, Gilad Hekselman, Tom Ollendorf and so on.
I don't know why Rosenwinkel put the keyboard or synthesizer sound to guitar. The natural sound of his instrument is better. It seems he follows the Metheny's path. 😒
Boy that drummer held that groove so well.
Where precision-from-discipline meets intuition. So good
Rosenwinkel is my favorite modern jazz musician. Also... dude can blink.
Kurt Rosenblinkel
Modern jazz player.....!!!! I don't think so. Maybe a fusion guitarist.

Holdsworth ... Rosenwinkel .. incredible!
beautiful! great arrangement of one of my favourite Kurt's songs.
Just wow!!! all I can say. What a beautiful song and Kurt's playing is amazing.....
What an incredible concert this must have been to see in person. The playing is immaculate. Loved the sax solo on this as well, very fitting!
Just grateful 🌹
tema maestro de un maestro de la guitarra como Rosenwinkel ,el viaje en el fraseo de la guitarra es maravilloso.....me encanta.
No es guitarra.... es flauta!!!!
Beautiful. Kurt as delicate as usual, plus great orchestra. Heavenly.

Rosenwinkel is not an innovative musician if he insist in the use of flute Song. He is a guitar player not a flutist.

this song is brilliant. this and under it all from the unreleased album. wohoo!!
Beautiful recording, as usual.
The best guitarist in the world, not for nothing Eric Clapton considers him a genius!
Clapton is a lesser god. He is in another category.
Please upload all the songs from this session to TH-cam!
We are going to upload three more songs from the concert - here's the first one: th-cam.com/video/yL9aXtvIJ7A/w-d-xo.html

any album available ??
Sorry, this bigband project has not been published as an album, nor do we plan it for the future.
Gitarre, die nach Flöte klingt. Nicht so meins.

You know the original recording of this tune on "Under It All" used a guitar synth and that was before he was famous, right?
