Joobie LOVES warmth (her favorite thing is laying on the catio in the summer) but oddly I've tried heating pads under her blankets and she wasn't into it. Might be worth a revisit though!
@@EvanAndKatelyn Kitten rescuers don't usually use electric heating pads because they can get too hot. They recommend disks that can be heated in the microwave and will hold a safe level of heat for a few hours. Maybe you need to put your heating pad on super low, or you could try a one of those disks.
Hot water bottles or microwavable grain filled bags work well.
6:49 all I saw was a black floof and automatically thought “yep, that’s joobie” and then when Evan grabbed the toy I had a mini heart attack😂😂

My friend had to make her cat his own desk when she started working from home and it worked exceptionally well. Apparently they like to mirror what you’re doing to show that they love you. So she got him a little table and chair and a “laptop” and he loves it!!

Yeah, I'm not sure Joobie likes jeans specifically. Unless she's not going on the lap if Katelyn is wearing something different... But usually cats are just drawn to warmth, that's why they sit on hoomans and Laptops. No excuse for sitting on keyboards though, that's just them proving their power over us.

I love how genuine all the laughs are here, and as someone who owns 8 cats I can feeeeeel the pure joy and happiness they get from the supurrvisor.
Hear me out, you get those decoy keyboards that are on a small shelf above the real keyboard. What about a decoy lap just above Katelyn
's that would either be attached to the chair or desk to act as a decoy lap. You may need to make some modifications to the desk to allow space but the cat might love it and not notice the difference
