Few weeks ago, I created a vote to take a look the popularity of the music from Childe Phase 3 and Teyvat Preview Trailer. I think Childe 3 is bit difficult and slow for me due to the instrumentation of the original song, so I went for Teyvat Trailer half way. (I created the same vote on Bilibili, and it was 8:2 which most of people choose Teyvat.)
Some people choose Teyvat Trailer BGM because they said there are different music in one video. I think this is exactly why I felt easier to arrange it because I don't need to think about arranging the same melody in different way.
The recording is a pain because the tempo of some part are little bit faster or slower. (I always thought it's at the same rate when I was arranging it) To make it easier to match with the trailer video, I decided to record some clips by itself to make sure its the same speed.
The hardest part for me to arrange is probably 'Everwinter Without Mercy'. I firstly used simple block chords for this part and I found it's bit thin on piano. However I don't want to use sth busy like what I did in other parts either. It took me a really long time to try and I found my friend @Jasper Hu for his help. After the discussion, we decided using a dotted rhythm which won't make the left hand taking over the melody but also bring right feeling from the original music (hopefully we did). He also helped me check the use of harmony and added some counter point for the ending section.
When I was recording the Everwinter part, I firstly record this part all with the metronome at the same tempo as original. I found it bit robotic and boring so I decided to record again to make some parts more free to bring the atmosphere.

Since you have a MiA profile I know for sure you have good taste in music, but set your sights even higher to the bottom to the abyss or to the top of celestia. There’s way harder songs that reward you so tenfold.
If you don’t listen to classical search up Best of Ravel, Scriabin, Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Liszt, Debussy and Kevin Penki- nah hes not dead yet luckily. These composer are my favourite so they might be yours too. If you don’t atleast try i’ll bring back Mitty and let her suffer 🤨

I’m talking about how far he wants to go with playing, i’m not gatekeeping any tastes. I learned this piece on piano and right now it’s my hardest piece next to fantaisie impromptu to perfect does that mean I don’t enjoy it? Obviously not. Does that mean i’m gonna stay at this level? Hell no. We humans have enough time to achieve what we want even though I started off late (14 to now 16 years old) i’m going to scrape all the high quality time I have to be the best and bring back good music instead of pop.

I never really played Genshin, I stopped because of the paywall but is it possible to play if I don’t spend a lot of money? This music has showed me how much the game has evolved since I’ve left it and I don’t know the story or what’s happening, but the music itself is telling a story to me and I know it will be sad .

The amount of different genres of music that portrayed the different regions... I can't imagine how hard it must have been to emulate all those genres with just a piano but this arrangement was just masterful.
If you do release the sheets, I'd definitely give my shot at trying this out for myself. May take awhile though... lol

This literally is the best on TH-cam currently. The others sounds either "too much" or "too little. For example there was another piano arrangement where the Snezhnaya theme feels extremely stingy and way too sharp that its unpleasant to listen to (probrably natural cuz those arrangements are played by the midi sound).
This video is truly splendid both in arrangement and performance aspect! Truly inspiring as well :)

Others make some arrangements or remix that makes the song worse sometimes. But it is impossible to play the song as same as the original one.
but this... when this music came into my brain i knew this guy can play the song after hearing once. not sightread or what, just he understands every emotions, notes of a song after hearing the whole song once. The sheet in front of him is useless he can play with eyes closed

My theory is that Khaen'riah isn't just one consecutive chunk of a archon quest, it has bits and pieces of the Act woven into the whole story of the other regions, and we don't notice it until the end, when it is pointed out to us by possibly Dainsleif?

As a person who has read a lot of things, I've noticed that there are always sad, tragic plotlines for the 3rd and 4th books, sometimes 5th. They are usually the saddest.

So... I'm trying to play your master piece and I have to say that it's absolutely insane, at least for me, that I haven't been playing for a long time, this is definitely a very hard and amazing piano arrangement

Some of the passages in this would be quite challenging for a beginner-intermediate level. Do feel comfortable with adjusting the piece to make it easier to play! You don't need to play things the exact same way for them to have the same feel to them
I feel like I need to do that too haha. I’m not very familiar with notes since I’m self taught with a keyboard but I recently started learning with this app and it’s getting a little easier to read them
I think I’ll adjust a bit.
Keep trying i’m performing this in a bit and I put in alot of effort (for me atleast). If the number of years played piano is under 2 years go practice something else or you’ll get bad habits.

I've seen a lot of people saying that Snezhnaya sounds intimidating but idk if it's just me but it kinda sounds... Sad. It gives me sad and angst vibes. Like if someone was suffering and screaming for help. Similar to phase 2 Signora Theme.
