Who cares how far you throw? I play with people who physically cannot throw more than about 200 feet and yet they beat most people based on their accurate upshots and putting. Sure, it's a par 3- only course with only 3 baskets longer than 300ft, but still, distance is not needed for the vast majority of amateurs. I throw a Specter as a utility disk. 50-100 foot scrambles around trees, etc. It's a driver and yet I use it for it's slow speed reliability. Who cares? I really want to try the Fission defy to see if it can replace my (no longer stable) Wraith... or another slot.
How far you throw affects how a disc flies, which I think is relevant for anyone watching a disc review and wondering how the disc might fly for them...but yes, distance is only one portion of a complete discgolf game. However if you want birdies, then every foot of distance (with some accuracy) increases the chances that you'll end up with a putt.

Definitely similar to a Destroyer, depending on the plastic as you say! Nothing quite compares to the Calvin Halo though 🤣
