Wow, that's an amazing review! We're thrilled to hear that you're pleased with all of our magnate nozzles. We're committed to enhancing our product even further, and stay tuned for our new product release!😇
I would love to see if the new model had the longer teeth diffuser and not an annoying adapter in the cable! If that were released, I would definitely buy it! There will be new colors soon so maybe an upgrade will be great
I don’t think they will fit. The stand I have is for dyson attachments and the Laifen are different diameters than the fitting for the Dyson. I’m not sure if that helps or not.
Had our Laifen hair dryer for less than six months and today it no longer works which is disappointing considering the price point. I suspect it has been run on too high a setting and overheated as the blue and red lights flicker and nothing happens.
That's very disappointing to hear. If you have had it that short of a time, it does have a warranty. You should Contact Laifen directly to see if you qualify for a replacement. www.laifentech.com/
Thanks for the review! I'm still trying to figure out if I want a handheld dryer or go for a stand-up bonnet dryer. I'm adding this to my list, tho especially since it has your stamp of approval 😊
You’re welcome. I was thinking I’m only one step away from getting a salon chair and the hooded dryer. 🤣 I have very little patience for it but I know it helps my hair.
Hi, Joli. Thanks for this detailed video. It was on my list to get a new hair dryer so based on your recommendation, I got this one! I did want to ask you if you can point me to a hair dryer stand. I definitely want to do the hammock diffusing since I have thick, long curlies!
Hi, no I haven’t noticed it overheating, I do only use it on Low, Medium, or the vacillating setting. The diffuser does get warm as it has a metal plate in it. I turn it to cool when that happens and cool it back off. If you have one and you are having issues contact Laifen, it may still be under warranty.
@@EshikaKhandelwal this did not happen to me. I am still using the same dryer today. I would recommend buying it with the warranty and then you have a way to return and replace should something happen.
Definitely the Laifen. I have been using this dryer for over a year now and love it. I have no heat damage from it either. The cord length may be your only issue so you may need a well rated extension cord. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
@@karina21877777 I don’t know if it is “better”, but for silver hair I think it is safer as it doesn’t get as blazing hot as the Dyson and the vacillating from cool to hot feature is really amazing. I do have a couple of people that told me they have replaced their old Dysons with Laifen and reported they found the Laifen to be faster drying time.
I have just bought the Dyson which is sooooo hot when I use the diffuser. I bought it from QVC therefore will be returning it. They say there’s no heat damage but there must be. Great video btw, thank you 😊
@@FarmGirl-s9c that’s a great question. It is a 1400 watt dryer, and add the fact I can dry my hair in about 15-20 minutes vs my old dryer which took 30-45 minutes I’m using less power just in time of use.
I refuse to spend $400 on a Dyson but I kind of want to try this particular dryer but that cord situation is bad. Any professional will want eight or 9 feet
@@BRUNO-cj9wd I agree for a pro that cord is very short. I have adjusted to it for my personal use as my outlets are counter height in my home. I quality extension cord would probably work…but I understand how even adding that can be of issue.
@@QuickSilverHair unfortunately they don't have the purple with the correct plug yet. I have ended up ordering the white one. The white one was out of stock in their wearhouse in Germany so they have now sent it from their wearhouse in China and said it will take 7-10 days instead of 5-7 that they originally said.
I have gotten used to it but a longer cord would solve some issues. I love the dryer though for knowing it won’t damage my hair. That’s why it was a keeper for me, but I completely understand why you wouldn’t want that on the cord. 🌟

It would be interesting yo know how they measure the temperature. Because thats a big difference.
I would love to know so I could measure the same way, if possible.
I wish retractable cords were an option.... I wonder if the Dyson adapters would fit it. ( ie nozzles)

@@QuickSilverHair it does.
Yeah it doesn’t fit. My daughter has Dyson I have Laifen and they are not interchangeable.

My apologies. I see now you included that above. I will check it out. Thank you as always.
I have now figured out how I like using this dryer so I may do an updated how I diffuse with the Laifen.
@@QuickSilverHair wonderful. I would love to know what technique you have come up with.

Hi may i ask if your laifen overheat as you dry your hair overtime??
And may I also ask if the attachment for the laifen heats up as well??
