Clock Tower's 3D graphics might be hopelessly outdated, but that doesn't stop it from being absolutely terrifying. Watch it with the lights off!

I used to be so terrified playing this when I was only 10 yet I'm amazed I somehow managed to get all the endings. I still remember bolting out of my cousins room after turning the PS1 off because I was scared Scissorman was gonna get me. Meeeemmmorrrieeeesss

I remember me, my brother, and his friend were playing this late at night and really scared the crap out of us. Moments later, someone knocked on our door. We hesitated to open it.
It was the friend's dad coming to pick him up haha

20:06 and 20:07. Just the two knocks at a time is creepy. Then seeing the guy through the peephole. Wouldn't open the door for somebody looking like that at all nevermind he'd already been murdered and scissorman is using his body as a prop to lure you. Scary.

I really wish we'd had a version based on the adventure novels, especially Helen's route. There was some hugely twisted stuff going on towards the end. Always felt like out of all the CT games, this one had the most potential to be explored because of the large amount of backstory that's left out, especially when it comes to certain characters' relationships. Personally I think Jennifer's scenario is the most interesting out of the two in the game, but Helen has some good stuff too, especially if you go the library route. Sullivan getting his head lopped off was glorious.
One of the scariest games I’ve ever played; forget the dates graphics and cheesy voice work and just go by the beats of the scares and the music for scissorman’s approach.
Dude, the dated graphics is what makes it scarier.

I like the way you shoot him and nothing happens but throwing a blanket nearly kills him...NHA..ISHHHHHHHHHHHH.....
Because the Scirssorman have a phobia of being stuck into something (e.g rubbles). Likewise the traumatic scissorman's giant baby encounter with Jennifer in the first game.
It's funny how weird everything is if everyone is alive during the Barrows mansion segment, like it's a weird wacky tourist attraction to an actual murder house and they're just squatting in different rooms for Helen to find them 🤣
1:12:35 is pulled up in the chimney. Was scissorman really in the chimney like that or would that have been some other thing like the mummy?
This game was one of my favorites. Played it back in the late 90s, no walkthrough available at the time. Could not get the A or B endings. Finally figured it out and completed 100%

The game that influenced Resident Evil 3. For apparent reasons because of Nemesis. There are references that point out to this game. The fact there is a clocktower in Resident Evil 3 shows that they were influenced by clock tower.

@@psychokinrazalon I think the Barrows twins have an evil influence around them that causes inanimate objects to go violent or dogs and parrots to kill scissorman's prey
Using a mouse 🐀with this game makes a better experience not to mention smoother movements.
I dig this sequel, but is a little bit slow if you don't know what to do or where to go

I watched the Jennifer playthrough as well, and it took me halfway through Helen's to realize that Gotts' voice actor is the same one talking at the beginning of the game.

It's sad how expensive this game is!
I'm currently stuck on the castle scenareo and I'm not sure if I might actually have to restart the game or not, which is annoying. Is it possible to be at a dead end that you can't get out of? I'm at a part where I hang off of a door and don't have any item to save myself from hanging.
Just keep tapping square when that happens and you'll swing yourself back to the entrance.
That door to nowhere is nothing important to the game, no need to actually open it.

@@CryingZombie666 Np! Yeah, it's cool that they put so much effort into it. The two paths are like totally different games. And I had to do Helen's - she has one of the funniest screams ever.
Though I prefer the Jennifer one. The atmosphere is incredible. The Helen one... I can't take it seriously.

Edward is actually Dan Barrows.
The deformed baby that also tried to kill Jennifer in the first game near the end.
She accidentally threw an explosive box at him, apparently killing him.
But in reality that baby form was actually a vessel where the real Dan emerges from and also escapes from the mansion
