I’ve been using a lot of the products from this brand since the start of quarantine and it’s helped me a lot! I first found out about them from their acne spot dots, which have been a LIFESAVER
if you dont mind me aksing what skin type do you have? the name alone of this brand is so enticing to me but i am nervous to try new products. lol i just bought a whole bunch from other brands to revamp my routine, so i gotta puase on the retail therapy lmao maybe if this could work for my skin type i might give it a go later on.

I'm a skincare newbie and my skin is far from being clear, but I've noticed a different in the before/after of starting this new regimen

Okay that was like my favorite video ever!!! She was awesome. I love you guys! I was a cosmetologist for 12 years, still am I suppose, and I did facials at my spa as well. Then I became a nurse 6 years ago. I had really bad eczema myself and a few years ago I swore off steroid creams and had to go through withdrawl, it was awful. I have gotten it under better control on my own than going to dermatologist after dermatologist. So after hearing her struggle with it too I definitely want to look into her and her brand more. Thanks for sharing her with us! I am a skin care geek, so this was right up my alley. You guys are adorable and awesome!

Idk if anyone else can relate, but my forehead especially the area between my eyebrows is super easily irritated and I get both acne and/or mild dermatitis. Often if I just use acne treatments there it irritates the "sensitiveness" of that skin, but if I use just sensitive skin/redness/dermatitis type treatments that tout moisturization to soothe, it clogs those pores.
Alicia is such a great explainer, I felt like I got a facial from her just by listening.

Interesting thing about niacinamide and vitamin c, if you use the vitamin c suspension from the ordinary and use something else with niacinamide in it, it will pill like crazy

I purchased the Rootree Mobitherapy UV Sunshield on Peach and Lily's website based on this video. I ended up really liking it, but I was doing some skincare shopping just now and I came across something I really didn't like. On the Rootree website, it literally says it's a ''whitening'' product, meant to lighten dark skin, as well as a lot of other products in their collection... I'm sure you know where I'm going with this, and I'm really not trying to start something, but it seems like an important thing to talk about when recommending a product, especially to an audience that's not stictly asian. I understand that whitening is more of a trend in asian skincare, which frankly I don't agree with but I can understand the fact it's culturally different. However, in North America, that ''whiter is better'' concept is VERY inappropriate. It makes me feel very uncomfortable that I've been using this for 2 months without knowing this was meant to lighten my skin. I did notice that my face has become slightly lighter than before compared to the rest of my body, but I thought that was just because I haven't been outside much and using good sunscreen. I'm not a person of colour, but I love my skin tone the way it is and would never want to lighten it. I feel lied to and I also hate the fact that I actually really like all other aspects of this product. I'm very disappointed. I really hope this is only a language barrier issue and it actually means brightening. But even if that's the case, some clarification would've been greatly appreciated.
