Looking to pair my Gray Mach with Atlas pro or Atlas. Wanna go carving with some occasional butterings, not quite sure if it's a good match. Would appreciate your good advice! Thx!
Thanks for the comprehensive explanation. Quick question, how important is it to have matching flex among board/shoes/bindings? Reason being, I have been enjoying all-mtn freeride style and therefore my setup is the Mercury/K2 Orton/Union Atlas. This season I want to try out some freestyle, but debating on which board to choose as I don't want to buy another pair of shoes and bindings. My shoes and Union Atlas are more of stiff flex, so I don't know whether they will pair well with some of the choices I have such as Bataleon whatever/Salomon Assassin, etc. If it is really that important to have everything on the same flex level, I'm thinking maybe Assassin pro.... Any advice? Thanks!
Boots are a personal preference for stiffness in whatever terrain. Almost all riders use one pair of boots for wherever they're riding. And then it's nice to match similar flexing boards to the bindings you'll use on it. The Atlas will be great on the Assassin or Assassin Pro, but keep in mind it is really nice to have a pair of bindings on each board just so you don't have to switch them every time you want to ride each board. On pair of bindings will keep you from only riding the board they're mounted on.
what would u recommend for the salomon pulse? I was looking into the strata/force/ultra. Really not sure been reading so many reviews. (beginner/intermediate)
