Your corn looks delicious! My Mom use to make fried corn when we were growing up; now I make it for her!

I grew up in Maryland during the 1950's and one of our favorite summertime meals was fried corn, corn bread, tomato's and steamed crabs. This recipe brings back some great memories.

Looks great. Love fried corn. This is a dish that I learned by taste and visual as there were no measurements from my AL side of family. I have also loved mi abuelas fried corn as she incorporated her spainish side (sauteed onion, jalapeño, and basil).
Look delicious this is the way my mother did corn.
Now that’s the way I cook mine, except the bacon grease and flour. Me either, no sugar.
The corn in California is too sweet! I love to corn from down south Arkansas. I wish that I knew the type of seed, and I would plant some.

Only if the corn itself doesn’t yield enough liquid. You can make the call whether or not yours need any.
Supposed to have a crust add milk green pepper and onions... that's that marked tree Arkansas corn!!!!

Didn't see you put the milk and I think you stirring too much. I fry corn all the time in the summer and I use water instead of milk because I get enough milk from the corn and I also use my mother recipe.
