In today's video, you will learn everything you need to know about the sweep feature in SOLIDWORKS. With the Sweep feature, you can create a shape by moving a 2D sketch Profile along a 2D or 3D sketch Path. You will also discover how to model a pipe and a real (no cosmetic) thread with the sweep feature in SOLIDWORKS.

Great review of this command and the first time I have seen SW2016. Thanks for your production.
Amazing, as always.
Very nice and clear--thanks!
Great video as a 20 year SW user I never used these sweep creation and cut options::
1.) No profile needed, when using circular or hollow circular profile. Saves me 1 sketch plane & sketch operation.
2.) No circular sketch & helix/spiral command needed for making a cut thread. Saves 2 operations.
Now, if I can only remember these.
Thanks for share
Did you start by creating the rectangle and then the projection lines or vice versa?
Thanks a lot,Good job!Just a question: why can't I extrude a line !I really need some help!Thanks in advance 😊
Thanks! Actually you can Extrude a line. Just draw a line > go to Insert > Boss/Base Extrude and select "Thin" to make a thin extrude of a line. Hope this helps!
Can you please !
Give your email,I will share with my piece of work!
And take a look if it will work or not!
Thanks 😊
