Why Safety is an Internal Job: The Key to your True Power & Sovereignty

I lost everything in a matter of hours. Everything I worked hard to obtain: a house, possessions, a car ... believing all of that could guarantee my safety. Give me security.
Yet, it disappeared, and I was left asking: If I did "all of the right things," then where does my safety truly lie?
Clearly, it wasn't outside of me.
Over the next years, I left the legal profession as a criminal prosecutor despite knowing staying in it would keep me "safe" financially.
A few years after that, I walked out of an unhealthy marriage because I knew my soul was safer on the streets than with him.
All of this required me to harness safety from within.
We cannot live according to our soul's truth - and listen to its callings - and ascend - if we keep looking outside of ourselves for security.
True security lies within.
