Nicely said! I have noticed and questioned this aspect of myself. I have been happily married for 35 years, and have no interest in partnering with anyone other than my wife. Yet I find an insatiable desire to attract and be attractive to other women. This arises from deep within, and I often try to follow this desire down to its very roots to find its source. love how you talked about the ancient knowing of sex as holy communion, and embodying the divinity of the soul. “Know thy self” is ancient wisdom, and this ascension journey is about awakening and remembering who we really are as divine beings. Sex is communion. Sex is bonding with a partner with intimacy, love, and pleasure. But that doesn't depend on monogamy or exclusivity. One can love and be intimate with multiple friends and partners. But the love, the respect and kindness needs to be there or sex is just masturbating by using another person as a sex toy. Sex is not a sin, but careless, unkind, greedy sex is a sin. Chose your partners carefully and share lots of joyful passion and pleasure with all your friends.

Er... there is no evidence that we actually have a soul. Sex is a biological urge, no different from eating or sleeping. Let's not over think it.

I appreciate what you say especially with regards to soul but like most relationship advice there appears to be aspects of cancel culture and an absence of family ie children in the mix . Transactional and objectivized sex is not always without soul when parents are trying to work out differences of needs . The demonization of objectification and lust as somehow unhealthy is dangerous because attraction and attractiveness are also divinity . When we attack physical objectification and lust we justify neurosis or in other words deny the critical importance of holistic health as a central aspect of holy sex and self love .
