I Asked AI to Create logos for Salt Lake City, Utah's NHL Team

- So the Arizona Coyotes will be relocating to Salt Lake City, Utah. We don't have a team name yet so I thought based on online suggestions I would generate possible logos using AI.

Wow one of my suggestions "Utah Fury" was trademarked along with "Utah Blizzard" and "Utah Venom".
Utah HC was also trademarked. I did predict it would be Utah Hockey Team for a season but i forgot to mention it.
Stingers reference to Mormons in Utah. Minor league baseball team is the SL Bees. Hives on all highway signs.
Didn't know about the Hives on all highway signs. What name would you want it to be based on the 20 name list that came out recently? I'm preparing a video on it.

There was a WHA team called the Cincinnati Stingers.
Yeah. But this video was made based on online suggestions. I'm planning a follow up video when we get the final 8 name bracket. I'm waiting to see if the 8th name replaces Utah HC.
Utah Seagulls or Utah Pioneers!
I thought about Seagulls but there is already the San Diego Gulls which is an AHL affiliate to the Ducks. I just can't see Pioneers being marketable from a branding perspective.

@JustMikeDotTv I think the concensus around the city is some variation of Blue/Purple. Maybe take the 90's color scheme of the Utah Jazz. I'm excited to see how it'll turn out.

Instead of venom id like if its was The Utah Rattlers
I just feel any name we get it's always going to feel odd, generic, or even minor league. But with time we get used to it like Golden Knights and Kraken. I'm planning to do a video on this soon just not sure when is the perfect time to release it since we're in the middle of the playoffs.

The Book of Mormon term deseret means honeybee and signifies unity, industry, and cooperation. In the Book of Mormon, bees are associated with migration to a new, promised land, a land of milk and honey.
Bees typically symbolize:
focus, hard work, teamwork, generosity, fertility, and prosperity.
Utah's nickname is "the beehive state" in reference to the ideal of industry laid out by Mormon settlers. Stingers. I think this is the most likely choice.
I get that but Stingers is not on the 20 name list that was released. The closest to that is Swarm or Hive.

@@beavwarius I'm not sure about Hive though. I can see that being the nickname of the Delta Center but not as a team name.

Utah had a hockey team before as the Golden eagles. Eagles are so over used, and Vegas is too close geographically and name wise to have golden.
How about Raptor? And not the dinosaur, instead "bird of prey" it's where the F22 gets its name.

Because Utahraptor and Raptor are 2 different things. It's on Wikipedia.
There is a legit dinosaur discovered to Utah, it's a raptor variant and to distinguish from velociraptor it's one word.
UtahRaptor, but as a bird of prey to differentiate from Toronto nba team and the minor league Ogden utah baseball team.
Grizzlies doesnt work because of Boston is a bear
Plus there already is a Utah Grizzlies in the ECHL. Even Minnesota Wild is an outline of a bear.
Raptors can't work as there's a AAA baseball team named the Ogden Raptors
Yeah. Well it's not on the 20 name list. But there's lots of baseball team in Utah with names on the lists. There's even a town called Mammoth Utah.
@@JustMikeDotTv I voted for Utah Yeti that one is my favorite with blizzard coming in second where if that one got chosen they can use the yeti as the mascot like you said.

Utah Raptors but dont do the dinosaur, Raptor = Bird of prey, F22, eagle, falcon, hawk, etc.

You should get this out there to Ryan Smith, the possibilities of Utah HC and Utah Hockey Team shouldn't be in the bracket

There's no way he expects anyone to vote for some of those, so why not fill it with something that will garner votes and debate to make it interesting?
Buffalo, bison, herd, or tatonka maybe or the Utes word for Buffalo?
Utah has the 2nd largest population of Buffalo, an entire island as a sanctuary for them.
@@jacehiggs3637 bison has been done. Especially with so many Buffalo sports teams. Not pro sports but minor teams.
But it doesn't have to be an animal or dinosaur name. Nashville Predators are called that and use a sabertooth as their logo. Minnesota Wild use an outline of a bear. Washington Capitals have used eagle designs. They're not Washington Eagles. Even Boston Bruins found a creative way to avoid being called Boston Brown Bears.
