Hey Steve I just got the 8 piece rigid tool kit from the depot. Oh boy was I disappointed with the sander it came with. I’ve never used a sander that walks as horribly as it does!
I love my Ridgid tools. I have been keeping my eye on that sander. I have recently got into the Milwaukee M12 line and have been looking at the new 6” sanders. Ridgid has finally started to release new tools and has me excited to see what else they release.

Just fyi home depot has a sale going on you get 2 ridgid 18vmax 4.0ah batteries with charger and get a tool free and this compact sander is one of the options my brother just got it yesterday he paid $163 for everything this is in san antonio Texas in case anyone is curious P.s. great video boss man I'm definitely subscribing I can't wait to see how the new milwaukee sander compares to this

It’s the worse battery sander I have ever used. It’s night and day difference with this new model

This Ridgid sander is a whole new cordless sander, the vibration is virtually 0

Good stuff. I've been looking at that new Ridgid sander and glad to see a review on it. Does the Ridgid get hot after extended use?
@@e.z.e.932 it does get warm but I have not used it continuously for over 15-20 minutes
