Electro swing seems to be very popular in Europe. Caravan palace is from France, and I think these guys are from Italy. I love this music, and I love steam punk. I enjoy listening to these songs and imagining them being sung in a steam punk 1920s stage.
Of course, its roots are in the Gypsy style which was born in Northern Europe, popularized by Django Reinhardt. It's a modern take on the genre, but if you've ever heard Street Performers in Europe, you'd know the style is extremely similar.
The sound is captivating.... it is so fresh, yet... familiar. It is a perfect mixture. That is the signature of talented musicians beyond their abilities with their instruments

I also adore Seven Million Faces (Best song of Hybrid; Precipitiamo, Dreamland and Follow the Stars are great too) and Healing Dance (Best song of Outsidein). I can listen to these songs every day.

I'm a huge fan of old traditional jazz, from Ragtime to the Big Band era... and usually do not like this "Electro Swing" stuff.... But THIS BAND IS AWESOME!
