Thank you so much, this cutter was fun to make, and I'm looking forward to seeing all the things everyone finds to do with it. Thanks again for another great video, and all you do for the community!
The handle looks like the flowers from a trumpet vine in the backyard where I grew up. The hummingbirds loved them! I’m so glad you’re feeling much better and that you’re back❣️
Hi Tiffany, Love that you are looking so much more you! all vibrant and happy. Congratulations on the Art show. The trick with the roller around the foot is a great one, the definition with the slight shadow it creates around the base definitely does give it a lighter look on the table.
Can't wait to see it once it's glazed, and I want to see if it works as a mug. Good to see you moving, chatting and working hard, we've almost got you back to fully working order, lol, hang on in there your so close, I will keep everything crossed😊
I can absolutely relate to the “parenting” part of life. I’m 68. But, my brain insists that I’m 25. At this point, I have children saying things like, “Sit down mom, I’ll do it, you’re old.” All this is said with utmost love and concern. And with a grin. I know they are remembering a time when I was saying, “You’re too little. Let me do it/ help you…”
Your question 'cool right?', the answer is YES. I sculpted with extruded 8'' wide drainpipe for year. Amazing how it flexes and move about. It's exaggerated in the large, great seeing it happen for you in the small.
If you can't use it as a mug, you can use it as a vase with a handle. That kind of vase makes it easy to pick up and move it or fill it with water. You can even use it as a gravy boat.
If you dont have one of the wooden mug builder a pool noodle works great I have been useing one for a few yrs I seen a video on them somewhere about4 yrs ago
I love the mug but worried hot liquid will pour out of the top when you’re drinking where it is so wavy, but it would make a fab jug! Love your videos, thank you for sharing them with us 💙❤
I’m a big fan of your channel. 😊 You always have great tips. I’ve been hand making my mugs for quite a while now but have been unsatisfied with the look of the bottom and the drinkability of the top. I’m only partway through the vid but once again you’ve sollved one of my pet peeves!! Thank you. 💜
Tiffany, I checked with Patty’s ceramics and her maple leaf bowl mold was reasonable but the shipping was 2x the cost of the bowl. Any chance you can give me the maker so I can find it closer to home or my travels? Love your work and have so much fun trying to make your ideas. You are an inspiration!
Yes, returning to same events are the best way to get your repeat customers I would think. Glad you did well at the show. Would you say your profit exceeded all the time & materials though? Looks like when you just tried to push the handle away to set up it hurt. So yeah dont be in such a hurry to extend the healing process even further or like in my case (was impatient) & they had to put me back under the knive. Your body will tell you what it can & cant do, its the brain & yourself that constantly tells the body to shut up.😊 Love ALL your whimsical hippish products been a subscriber/watcher/follower for a long time, but on this one I see more of a flower petal rim, & the shroom doesn't really like like a shroom with that hole in the middle of it..maybe closing up the hole? Put more details on it. Maybe it'll all pop once painted... But hey, if you sold out on these & have to make more then what the hell do I know😊 It is absolutely true in the art world that whatever you create & don't particularly like it, KEEP GOING....others will love it... throw nothing away..😊 Note: Hope on your future travels to potters you'll be able to visit my bud (& yours too I think) VAUGHN SMITH, novia Scotia & of course Jessica Putnman. Also: Instead of purchasing Diamond Cores super expensive carving tools, 😢😮 you can make ALL sorts of tip shapes for carving out of aluminum thin metal (like coke-beer cans), attached with little screws to dow poles. 😊 This is for us STARVING artists...😢😊
I'm planning on opening up International shipping. I just have not experienced the ins and outs of Etsy shipping, and their estimates of shipping costs yet, and want to make sure that it is to the best interest of the buyer. Give me a week or so, and we will know which way is best for International shipping.
Wow, really beautiful. The mushroom is funnel chantarelle. They are so tasty. Looking forward seeing the glazing and finished product
Pretty cool. Loved learning how you make the design.
Thank you for showing all the hand built stuff. I really appreciate it! I don’t have a wheel.

@@marycarolyn1293 I thought it looked like a flower too, which gives me even more ideas, lol.
That wooden tool is called a spout shaper and can be found on Amazon. Love this mug, thanks for sharing
I’m so glad you’re feeling better.
There are lots of different mushrooms. You can have a whole series. I like the idea of adding bugs to some of them.

I just bought the cutter on etsy! I think your mushroom🍄/ghost mugs are so darn cute! Thank you!
So cute. Great tutorial.
Beautiful!
Loved this video ❤ your tool that you used for the mushroom is for sale on Temu as a teapot spout shaper x

@@MRC11221 Yes! Great ideas!
Can you show us how to make the ladybug earrings? They're so cute!! 😊
That tool you used for the opening of the mushroom handle looks much like it could be a leather tool called a burnisher or burnishing tool.

@@chrismorlan4129 Shipping is the bane of our need for pottery tools. There isn't any information on my form. Maybe try a Google search with a photo?
Do you sell printable templates? If so can I get a link.
@ddtuss2585 I don't have a printable for this one yet, but I did a still shot with all the measurements on the ghost video so you could make your own.

What a pity she doesn't ship the template to Australia
Maybe she will sell you the file and you can get someone locally to you to make you one, ask her.
