As a lifelong bucks fan, seeing us win a championship a few years back and now having 2 of the biggest stars in the game almost feels fake. I will forever cherish these years we’ve had and will have going forward, I know this isn’t the normal at all for Milwaukee and I couldn’t be more grateful to experience it

Giannis want to be in a situation similar to Duncan. Although the Spurs had some heartbreaking losses in the playoffs they were contenders every year of TD's career.
Easy to find it tenable when Duncan already had 3 titles by this point in his career.

Giannis is a great player, a humble person, but he is also very smart - the way he handle the contract question and his relationship with the coach (where he qualified what he said by saying “so far”). He is committed, but “cautiously” committed to both the team and the coach, even to the duo he just formed with Dame! Smart in my opinion.
He's a lot more calculated and smarter than people give him credit for. Wise even.
Giannis did well to respect Jrue. Wishing Milwaukee well this year (I think they take it if they have Lopez, Giannis, Middleton, Lillard healthy) and I say that as a Charlotte fan. Giannis is one of my favorite players.

You could make an argument that AD should have won finals mvp in 2020 because he was overall a better player on both ends.
