Yeah, beer really makes people emotional and outgoing with these feelings. As funny as it was to watch that clip, but that dude doesn't look well. Never drink and stream. Someone who puts himself in a vulnerable or unstable position and also out there in the public like that has problems, I promisse. It's not what a person who has his stuff together (or at least not fall appart) would do. It's a bad example. It makes you do weird and unreasonable decisions, that you often regret later. It makes you easier to get manipulated into these kinds of decisions if you have bad people around who want to do this to you. It's just not good. I hope he uses the streams as a reason to regulate his drinking. There are sad examples of people whose whole persona deteriorated to being drunk and do things that are not funny anymore but at some point just sad to watch, like a trainwreck in slow motion, as soon as they get online and take the first shot / beer and then go downhill until the stream ends just to repeat the process over and over again, getting a bit more into alc and a bit away from the actual content, until the streams almost exclusively become nothing but watching someone get drunk and end the stream / pass out.
I enjoy this elevator. In classic you don't wait to move. You move or wait for next opportunity to move. These are well-known death traps due speed. After so many years people still keep dying over and over.
1. Create a game in which people pay real money for items. 2. Made an hardcore mode 3. Create an elevator that can kill you 4. Had the community calling people die there "noobs" 5. Get rich doing nothing
@14:45 I see some Greek names in this raid party, i know cause i am from Greece. Arisbow (Aris is a Greek name from Aristotelis and bow is the English word for bow, i guess this guy combined the 2 words), Dikastirio is Greek for the court of law (you know, the place where criminals get sentenced) and one last that i can (barely, i say barely because not the entire name is shown) is Charalampos. Charalampos is a Greek name and i know that even more because that is literally my name XD , it a compination of 2 Greek words: Chara= enjoyment, the feeling of happiness and the Greek verb λάμπω= i am shining, so the name means shine with enjoyment or laughter. :) Other than these i cannot see any other Greek names, Arisbow Dikastirio and Charalampos.
00:39 I do appreciate moments like these. I'm not sure what to call them. A reality check? A perspective shift? Whatever it is, it's good for people to hear it sometimes and be reminded that there are, in fact, people in any game that haven't played it for thousands of hours.
That feral druid outfit of cobbled together blues at 18:21... nostalgia hits hard; that's what my character looked like right through to ZG. But I guess that's common, given the total lack of proper feral druid itemization back then.
The elevator part, you can see his characters feet where half in the elevator platform. If he jumped when it was stationary he would have ended up on top and been fine to jump while it was going up. But while it was travelling and his feet were halfway through the platform when he jumped the game didn’t recognize him as on the elevator anymore and he fell.
bro... 4:00 i just got so mad. shield wall, retal, fear, thunderclap, theres no demo shout on the mobs even. what in the hell? and you die with almost full rage.
It always amazes me to see the amount of patience Zack has dealing with such stupidity and narcissism in the comments and responding with a calm, collected demeanor and providing a constructive argument/retort
9:07 log out should still be instant in IF. Just log out, get on another toon, install a lava jump weak aura, wait for the chance to get summoned later, ez. Ok maybe only being able to take 1 tick before dying is impossible.
Kats was the first 60 in my guild. This was her first time playing any version of WoW. She literally looked up every single quest on Wowhead before doing it. All that to die like that. She never returned. 😢
You know the 6 beers in guy gave me an idea for a group: Every close encounter your group has, you drink and see how the far the group can get from level 1
A self perpetuating cycle. The more you drink - the more it is likely to have a close encounter - the more you have to drink - the more close encounters you will have. The real question would be, I guess, who dies first? The player, from alcohol poisoning or the character, from the player poisoning himself with alcohol?
The sporadic movement that broke feign early would have caused it to fail regardless. The resist didn't matter. This is the kind of thing that gets you ignorant chatters who like to argue pulled up and banned.
On the warri clip in BRD, the heal roached out with mana, shildwall would have been useful, but was not needed. It would have taken one heal to get him up again and since most mobs have been dead at this point or had low health they could have all lived it. I blame this mainly on the healer. As heal if I would let the warri die there I would delete my char out of shame.
Every elevator death is completely avoidable too, since there is a perfectly good sewer entrance that you can simply walk in/out of. Just chew on that, when you see them die to that elevator - they didnt even have to use it
5:30 the reason hunters are feigning death like that is because that is how it has been working on private servers for the last 19 years. There the mobs would immediately exit combat and start running towards their spawn. If you see a hunter doing that, he's got private server reflexes.
I've hit level 60 twice. HC was my first time ever playing Wow after a homie begged me to play with him. I on my tv hooked up to a 10 year old macbook with a $10 keyboard in my lap and my mouse on the couch cushion next to me. Idk how some of these deaths even happen lmao
23:28 I honestly think a lot of it is 1 of 2 things. Either they are new to classic and have no clue how some of these instances work compared to retail (so they think they can handle multiple mobs like this) or they use to play classic and just forgot how these dungeons work. No one looks up how to do some of these dungeons and go in there blind.
3:55 'no were not, were pulling a shitton" he said, while pulling a shitton by running out. the warrior gave up on his char and his friendship with those people at the same time...
They dont even have to fix the elevators in UC, all they have to do is create a zone effect boxes in the elevator area and apply like -50% or more fall damage when the players are in the area of the elevator. Problem solved. The damage would be reduced so you still might die when your HP is low but overall it would almost eliminate this issue.
23:27 That room in Scholo up to Janice is a deathtrap. The mob pathing can be odd, especially the Risen Aberrations. It's possible to pull multiple groups when they take the long way round to reach you.
3:55 Asmon even if he shield wall his entire group already bailed. He's not gonna solo them so what's the point? It's not his fault, it's the roach's fault.
I don't even remember why I did the jumping on elevators until I recently saw one of these compilations. It's been so long ago, it became a routine for long time players and I don't even think the vast majority really remembers WHY they do it.
that level 15 undead was actually questing in an area for his level. Some reason, that area has a couple elites that are mid 20s there. Son of Argual is one. That wolf bastard
I think that this would be an excellent trap if the player could find a way to identify it and I at first thought the falling elevator was an actual trap.
Imagine playing hardcore, playing it safe all the way to 60, only to try and spare yourself for half a minute of running towards an instance doing something that is actually risky af, and none of your party members reached the instance yet anyways.
5:05 They're used to using it as a means to break Target locks in PvP so they use FD then quickly move, but for PVE... you need to the game to tick over first, clearly it didn't.
The death at 4:00 makes me mad because that guy understood that the situation was fine, but the healer kept crying and whining and pissing himself then roached out and left that guy to die.
I'll never forget the time on my mage in vanilla, I had 4 feathers left in my bag, but I needed space, deleted them.. and then died on the way to dire maul (feralas) from a nasty fall off that thousand needles elevator less than an hour later.

The feign death fail in STV was because in retail you drop all aggro the moment u FD but in vanilla obviously it doesn't work that way. I actually nearly died at the exact same spot yesterday also on a hunter, there is a mob that spawns tonnes of skeltons.
13:24 It's not hard to believe considering that asshole didn't attack a single mob until all of his friends were dead. He let his friends aggro all the mobs.
I think it’s a panic thing with Hunters breaking feign death/not using it. I used to main Hunter for a few expansions, and I lost track of how many times I broke Feign Death cause of panic back pedaling - which honestly is a real thing, since dots don’t disappear, and the risk of AOE’s are a thing still. Just my best guess, but it’s also the ‘Hunter Brain’ you get when playing.
