More than a decade ago, brothers Chris and Casey Keefer ventured north to the Brooks Range of Alaska to film 'Dropped' - and now they return with Dropped: Project Origin.
The original ‘Dropped’ pushed the brothers' mental and physical limitations to the very edge as they attempted to survive stringent and taxing conditions in the extraordinarily isolated Alaskan bush. Chris and Casey journey back to where it all began to discover if their drive to survive has remained the same and to see if they still have what it takes to provide for their own basic human needs.

Thanks for watching everyone!!!
I really enjoy watching y'all. A year ago, my wife and I left Texas for Alaska. We live on the edge of the brooks range and spend a great deal of time in some of the most beautiful countryside our nation has to offer...and we may harvest an animal or two along the way
As an old hunter it’s fun watching how your expectations and gear change with your experience. You guys get it and are very articulate for showing what wilderness hunting is all about. Well done and you have a fan in Oregon.
I like that you put the whole season in one video. Definitely one of the best hunting videos I've seen. I've watched others of yours. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Guy's I Am So Enjoying The Dropped TH-cam Videos 🎉 I Hope You Do A Lot More 🎉
Wish my brother was still here to hunt with, enjoy your time together awesome videos.
Words of wisdom about living life wholesomely, thank you gents!!
You guys Are awesome , Thanks for creating something Worth watching! The Real World! ✨🇺🇸💯🤙🏽
Congratulations Rider , Welcome to Earth , Your Pops is awesome 😎
Happy Birthday 🎉🎁
Nice shot looks like you guys are having a good time beautiful place to be👌👍🙏
Incredible film! Thanks for sharing your hunt!
Whats the Music during the intro flight scene? Shazam couldn’t identify it
I’m trying to find it too. I’m wondering if it’s something they or someone they know preformed?
Brandon Calhoon - Soul Survivor
1:36:00 i dont think ive smiled or been that excited about something in a while i appreciate the both of yall and the camera man for that moment 💪🏽
You guys are great and really enjoy all your work
This is a pleasant hi-end huntin/campin trip with all the best accoutrements be real nice...!
In '75 with only what was in my pack walked into the last major wilderness's of the Rocky's from the Arctic Circle to Mexico with two weeks packing into the back country of Kodiak Island- was gone for most of a yr...!
really enjoyed watching this video, here you stopped and really lived in the area and found out when you stop and really look around you you see and can really enjoy the experience , because you are living the dream, thank you for sharing the camera crew awesome job , you brought us their with you all , we even shared the worry and fears , none of us wanted a grizzly in camp LOL God Bless you all awesome caribou
The Dropped series is by far the best show on Outdoor TV IMO. I've been to the Brooks 5 times and have experienced some amazing times. These videos bring back many wonderful memories. Thank you, guys.
I love Cabela's way more than bass pro shops but i feel like im watching i long commercial or add for Cabela's. At every cache i feel like they are trying to sell me something 😂
Product placement, great advertising strategy
completely unrelated but i just bit my sandwich and it squeaked
I’m glad to see that you guys take care of me properly specially in my own state I haven’t watched all of it it looks like you guys killed it awesome
Absolutely amazing!!!! Thank you.
Just a horse being a horse !😂
Love it all!always wanted to do that to,I’m glad your havin good time haha❤
Fun fact: Moose abundance/density in Alaska can be as low as One moose per 30 square miles and as frequent as 5 moose per One square mile.
Incredible
The hog, at least you admitted it was yourself that made the mistake. It happens. I to have made the same mistake.
Just remember, we are all humans, if we didn't make mistakes, we are not learning a damn thing.
Love your show. Living my dream through your eyes.😊
Guys you make my night 🤩🤩😎👍🫡gob bless America 🇺🇸 and you guys
Great Video! I think its a life Dream for many people. For me too.
Greets from Austria
(Im also hunting in the alps)
And Great Music too !!
Best show ever since 1999
"I feel like a man now. I was able to shoot a deer all by myself"
They probably have pizzas brought to them. They arent dropped off alone filming themselve. Who they kididing but entertaining
Pizza delivery in the Alaskan wilderness? Man you are really reaching. These guys handle their business. They aren’t the guys you see hunting high fences and corn piles.
@@mikegiles5162leave my Chris and Casey alone because I'm watching these videos over and over and over probably a hundred times each
They’ve introduced their camera crew before bub! Of course they are not filming themselves!
Loved it.
Congrats Nate. Great video and great hunt!
Since Cam and Kip you all just searching… I love Lee and Tiff but you all need to get with us or just hire Kapernick
Then we will all leave
Thanks for sharing the experience😇
Imagine running into that storage locker at an auction😍
Awesome I am having issues with carpenter bees as well
These cats need to take that Sasquatch dude with them … the mountain man and ol # 7 …
Just waiting for this
If they do another season: #1) Hire a professional narrator and a writer
2.) You killed Maniac there. We got it. Telling us repeatedly multiple times an episode, we got it
3.) There were so many cliché sayings and tropes in hear. This was almost like watching a parody of the first 3 seasons.
4.) The theme song.....what? Please change it. I thought the Amazing Grace abomination version was the worst song ever sung in this series..it wasn't
Your #1 and #3 points cannot be stressed enough. I have no idea who these guys are or what this series is - it popped up on recommended. I rarely feel compelled to comment on youtube but after the first 20 minutes I can't watch anymore of this because the narration. It's so bad. Clearly these guys are avid outdoorsmen and more experienced than me but the way they narrate feels like they're trying to appeal to people who only interface with the outdoors via instagram. Every single time that dudes voice comes in it sounds like some generic line from an REI commercial or something. It's like these guys are trying to sell themselves as caricatures of outdoorsmen instead of just being genuine about who they are.
Thanks guys for everything you do I really enjoyed it
I'm in New Zealand and I loved watching you try and eat billy goat 🤢 lol as a NZer we all know Billy's are not good eating but I give u props for attempting it. Next time u will have 2 try the north island. A completely different type of hunting experience u will love it.
Horses, while beautiful, are like women. Temperamental. Key word mental.
Loving this ish lol
I was glad you didn't shoot the wolf, that caribou will give you more than enough meat, awesome video tho
In 10 more yrs your goal should have Rhyder trained to make it with you for his birthday to get his first.
Good job guys👍👍🙏
Survival? More like a paid vacation!
Ace ventura would be proud!
Man me and my buddy always talk about taking a trip like this and man do i hope we do
Start to plan it thoroughly and set a date. From experience this helps hopes become reality
@simonmorgan225 we already have a start to the plan, but still, along way to go
why were you allowed to hunt not being Alaskans, thought you were required to have a guide? Likd this extended viewing of Alaska and its animals.
I wondered this as well. From Alaska .gov website, Aug-Sep is caribou hunting season.
good to know
YOOOOOOOOO LEEEEEEESSSSS GOOOO
How do I get to do this? My dream! And i think my youth is slipping away!
You ssid it brother its the reail civilisation out there where you can have a peace of mind and away the every days cutthrought hassles of city lifes agrovations
Just came across this , please explain about this if you would..... Thank you
It’s a series about 2 brothers that do some incredible wilderness challenges. Worth going back to watch the others for sure. Hope that helps.. Very best 🍻
Nate... I thoroughly enjoy these types of videos..just love to see the different scenery...how you survive with minimal gadgets ...different weather patterns..animals etc etc. However every time a moose ends up in the area you all can't wait to eradicate the magnificent animal...WHY? There isn't an ...overstocking ... of them is there? Not by the way you all have to 'search' for them when you want a kill.... So please explain WHY? Not only you ...but almost EVERY post where there happens to be a magnificent moose....it's butchered !!!!
Would the bears not smell the meat ye are preserving to take home?
you could see that that wolf knew you were there, t\it kept looking back you.
Got fatigued, breaking down lol. Not to sure what to do with 400lbs of Meat.
I thought you weren’t allowed to hunt when you come in on an airplane in the same day I thought you had to wait till the next day to hunt?
they did wait, it was a weird cut but they talk about it being morning around 17 min mark
Is there a soundtrack for this video?
Iam glad you did not kill that wolf. Thanks
Does anyone know The name of the song at the beginning
Also I could hook u up with the opportunity 2 catch ur elusive brown or rainbow trout.
I wish I could take that trip with you guys 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾🫵🏾
On your nexted trip there can I tag along with yous
1:47:24 him saying he's "certainly not a moose expert" is laughable because if he isn't then WHO IS? These hunters spend days & weeks at a time out there stalking & hunting these huge animals watching every habit and every mannerism. I'd say that qualifies him as an EXPERT.
I wish you would’ve taken that poor moose out of his misery rather than having him struggle as he drowned. you guys are so happy when you make a kill. Obviously it’s like a drug. But, I wish you would pay some reverence to the animal that will feed you and your family.
What is the song on the intro?
Caught a brother fish😂
I would say add super glue to your first aid kit.
Would have worked well for that wound, as long as it was cleaned out good.
What’s the intro song?
mega grizzly😅😅
Solo muskox? Seems odd.
What is there to explain. They get dropped, make some kills and get picked up
This here is huntin/campin trip with all the best accutrements...!
I did it in '75 with just what was in my pack and gone for most of a yr the Rocky's from the Arctic Circle to Mexico with 2 weeks in backside of Kodiak Island...!
Have you seen the first season? It's a challenge where they have to make decisions and travel and find caches. This is just then going back to that first season where it all started.
@mtman2 of course you did rambo
@@ravenbushcraft7731
lol = "Rambo's a make believe character and Sly'd be lost in the places I lived and things I did even thru my whole life after felling timber alone in remote area's from 102+°to -40°...!
Love watching you brothers and your life experiences. Thanks a million and I mean a million thanks 🙏
Interesting advertising features👍
Besides, you should probably be at home celebrating your son's birthday, rather than crying with homesickness on one of Alaska's mountain sides.
Lol how many shots lol what a joke
Its like a Xbox game Hell that place is not for me some parts i admit are like my out of town areas but just 10%
why are you out hunting Caribou one day after bagging a huge buck ? In't that enough meat for 2 men ?
They have family
I’m not tired or whining

Ya get dropped for long periods
Looks like I'm the first here 😂
Do you have to cuss?
Do you have to cry ?
Boooooo bad show 🥱🙄
Blood lust ,get a hobby guys
I'm so confused they had a second kill by the river what happened with that meat or was that an edit error
Monotony is the word for this jesus you guys act like its hard to shoot targets stood still im from the uk never shot a gun i would be able to shoot that caraboo 3 days of training u got the exact metres said to 142 such over forced and exageratted content making me comment its that annoying🎉
