When I was like 11 years old, my mom loved country music and chased dudes online. My dad ended up raising me and my two younger brothers as a single parent on one income. I will say, growing up was tough. Being the oldest and when my brothers did something, it was my fault cause I was the oldest. My dad introduced me to Linkin Park around that age and I fell in love with Rock Music, just about any and consumed all of it. Linkin Park was where it started. But it lead to Evanescence, Creed, Shinedown, Eyeshine, Disturbed, Three Days Grace, Skillet, We Came As Romans, Godsmack, Metalica, Black Veil Brides, Bullets for my Valentine, Icon For Hire, Thousand Foot Krutch, Breaking Benjamin, Flyleaf, Guns & Roses, Nirvana, Dead By Sunrise, Grey Daze, Fort Minor, and many many many more. #RockForever

I saw them the next night in Worcester Ma. What I remember of this song were the out-of-this-world harmonies, and the kick drums going right through your chest!
I love how Lzzy respectfully pulls the mic away when she fully unleashes that powerhouse of a voice, so she doesn't completely drown out people she sings with.
That isn't why she pulls the mic away. If you notice most singers pull the mic away when they belt or hit higher notes. It has to do with the way the mich captures the sound. It sounds more uniform when they do this as it decreases distortion and feedback due to the length of the sound waves being different in high notes Vs lower notes
