I recommend seeing Halestorm live in concert. Every time I've seen them, they've put on an awesome show. Lzzy can really sing. Even live she sings those powerful notes like a beast.

yeah - that album has some amazing sounds on it. Also yeah Ozzy/Sabbath till about 1977. Except for the first two "Ozzy" records the music is pretty disposable, as in "solo" Ozzy (or middle aged Ozzy). Some of the classic rock musicians make memorable parts from their ear rather than fingering patterns or using 'exotic scales' - phrygian dominant or minor key notes can sound exotic but just running the patterns back and forth using a metronome doesn't necessarily create memorable audio
OK, so I’m 58 and I saw Halestorm a few years back with my kids, without knowing what to expect and I gotta tell ya, Lzzy Hale is the real deal vocally and on the guitar. The whole band kicks ass.
I own a decent-sized collection, with a few Gibsons, so trust me. I don't pick hard at all and my $5K Les Paul (with Gibson locking tuners) still goes out of tune after about three songs. It's just one of those "things" that you have to learn to love... and deal with. ;-) Cheers.

I was lucky enough to be on their tour bus at a Las Vegas show. Her brother has an electric & energetic vibe that is felt as soon as he enters a room but when she walked in....I melted & was rendered speechless for the 1st & only time in my life.😍
I saw Halestorm and godsmack in Rogers AK on October 6th Lizzy has the single most powerful voice I have ever heard in my life, made me an instant fan for life.
Pretty cool how she figured out how to use her vocals to help her play out her music. Been playing for years and I can't play and vocalize for the life of me.
I know this sounds simple, but.....tap your foot, concentrate on the beat, hear it in your head and it will all sync. It worked for me 30 years ago. An old hippie I met at an outdoor concert taught me that. Ever since that day I could play and sing at the same time. He just made me realize I was trying to hard I guess. Hope this helps. :)

When you improvise and sing the same melody at the same time, you really start to play the things you mean to when you jam. That was one of the best improvational tools I was ever taught.
She's earned my respect this day. Never cared much for her music, but she's got heart, and passion for her music. That makes me happy and optimistic for the future of hard rock/metal. Love her firebird, and her looks. She's a very attractive young lady. She's been blessed with a beautiful smile.

I am not a fan of Halestorm but must to admit they are one of the bands who still can rock in more mainstream music and there is not many band left like this

I'm quite certain in the hype I proposed to her from the audience during a quiet moment haha. She just laughed and said "you're beautiful" there were after show hugs (if you stuck around long enough afterwards and caught them) unfortunately I did not hang around long enough afterwards. Regrets man. Haha. This was also the last gig on a very long tour in dec 19.
I met Lzzy Hale, we hit it off, smiling and laughing, I thought I had it MADE! She hands me her guitar pick, so sweeeeet! I walk away with a smile, knowing my new love of my life is found. As I swagger away thinking of a hotel room romp, I look down and read the pick "it's not you".
I still owe her and Joe a round of shots after we hungout a little after one of their USO shows on my old base. Those 2 were awesome to talk to, very fun people. I make it an effort to see them live, arguably one of the best live bands I have seen. Seen them 3 times within the past year in Iwakuni and Tokyo Japan, and in Sacramento for Aftershock Festival. If they see this comment, sorry for the 12 year old gaming name (I did make this account when I was in 6th grade).
I think her voice is even more impressive than her guitar skills, I seen her in concert about a month ago along with Godsmack in Alpharetta Georgia and she absolutely blew me away, she has the best vocal range of any female vocalist I've ever seen in concert, probably anyone period I've ever seen live, SHE'S FUCKING AMAZING LIVE💙
Before they were big some of us were waiting in line in the rain in Raleigh, NC at the Lincoln Theater. The band, Lizzy and her mom came out of their RV with coffee, poured us some and hung out with us.

I met Lzzy Hale, we hit it off, smiling and laughing, I thought I had it MADE! She hands me her guitar pick, so sweeeeet! I walk away with a smile, knowing my new love of my life is found. As I swagger away thinking of a hotel room romp, I look down and read the pick "it's not you".

I still owe her and Joe a round of shots after we hungout a little after one of their USO shows on my old base. Those 2 were awesome to talk to, very fun people. I make it an effort to see them live, arguably one of the best live bands I have seen. Seen them 3 times within the past year in Iwakuni and Tokyo Japan, and in Sacramento for Aftershock Festival. If they see this comment, sorry for the 12 year old gaming name (I did make this account when I was in 6th grade).

I think her voice is even more impressive than her guitar skills, I seen her in concert about a month ago along with Godsmack in Alpharetta Georgia and she absolutely blew me away, she has the best vocal range of any female vocalist I've ever seen in concert, probably anyone period I've ever seen live, SHE'S FUCKING AMAZING LIVE💙
Before they were big some of us were waiting in line in the rain in Raleigh, NC at the Lincoln Theater. The band, Lizzy and her mom came out of their RV with coffee, poured us some and hung out with us.
She was blessed with beauty and talent and love her easy going nature.

Same here when i was in grade school's i love listening to classic rock music like Dio, Sabbath, Led Zeps , Deep Purple, Alice Cooper, Twisted Sister and Kiss...and many more..😊
Lzzy is great & has one of the best voices in rock in a LONG time, but I'm disappointed that the rest of the band gets pretty much zero recognition. They're all great in their own right.
