My reactions:

It's a bit sad that Gabriel can DIE because of Chat's cataclysm. Adrien, without knowing it, is KILLING his father. Also, Nathalie is super sick and can die too. If it happens, he would be an orphan. That's so tragic 😭At least he would have Ladybug and his friends but no parents, that's really sad!
Marinette during season 1 to 4: Finds Chat's humor annoying, rejects his compliments and roses.
Marinette now: Loves him!
Finally she is accepting her feelings for him, it was about time! I'm glad Marichat will get more development and cute moments. Theses two are adorable together, can be honest and enjoy each other's compagny 🥰😍

This became my favorite episode!! The kwami swap again, Lady Noir being so in love, Chat Noir dodging the targets with his comebacks and Adrientte being soft.
Definitely best one this season, so far!

She's still in love with Adrien lol just like Chat is still in love with Ladybug, those feelings haven't changed at their base, but they're both pushing them down. She didn't/isn't "admitting that Adrien was just not it" sksks him and Chat are the same person. If Chat is *it* for her then by definition Adrien is still in that position.
"Uh, he's in love with Ladybug."
"And we both know that means the same thing!"
This applies with the reverse 😭 that was kinda a huge part of the Kuro Neko episode was Adrien understanding that he's not just these personas he puts on all the time. He's not his truest self when he's Chat Noir and he's not his truest self when he's Adrien The Teenage Model. He's just Adrien, a kid who acts differently around different people like so many others do. She's falling for Chat because he's got the same qualities she's found attractive in Adrien, the same ones she found attractive in Cat Walker. She's falling for the vulnerable boy underneath over, and over again. And when the reveal happens, that boy will be the one meshed together and she'll be able to see why it was so easy to fall for Chat and Cat Walker after she'd fallen for Adrien.

When nathalie said "love is complicated" and that flash back of her behind emilie and gabriel got me thinking, what if nathalie was in love with emilie but settled her happiness since emilie and gabriel were together. Or what if nathalie was in love with both emilie and gabriel, and unconditonally loves adrien. Nathalie being amazing as she is wanting to protect and sacrifice herself for the little family she is a part of
Well we can see in s2 she loves Gabriel, so i dont think thats a possibility, but who knows,everithing is possible, after all Zoé is in love with Marinette so 💁

I think ladybug behaving this way it's actually going to help Adrien realize that she's Marinette. I mean, he's already falling for this goofy side of her as Marinette, and seeing it mirrored in Ladybug could help him connect the dots. Sorry for the grammar :P

I feel like soon, that cataclysmic wound will be too hard to cover and Gabriel will be too sick to fight, he'll still try and fall in battle (not dead, hospitalized 'cause disney ofc) . When Adrien realize he is hawkmoth but also that cat noir aka HE HIMSELF did this to his dad, he'll go crazy just like his dad. Natalie will be emprisonned for being Mayura not before revealing she herself is sick, pushing Adrien to even more want to make that wish. He'd probably reveal himself to LLadybug and beg her to get her miraculous for his dad. Thankfully, Ladybug wouldn't reveal herself to him before that and therefore he'd still be seeking her miraculous. Thus would be the start of season 6.
That's just a theory, a miraculous theory.
Honestly, Passion is my favorite episode in S5, I know people loves Exaltation, but I love the Nathalie and Adrien focus, Safari is a top villain, and this episode was way more touching to me than Exaltation.

The reason I love this reverse love square is because Marinette is in love with the quirky side of Adrien, and adrien is in love with the marinette side of ladybug, which will make the reveal better cause they will like both sides of each other and the timing will be right.

Reason why Adrien is NOT a sentimonster: Miraculous Season 3 Episode 9: Miraculer steals Cat Noir’s power and uses it on Cat Noir, result: Cat Noir is physically hurt just like his dad was in Season 5 Episode 3 Destruction and does not go insanely uncontrollable like a sentimonster would, case closed, if Adrien were a sentimonster he would probably have formed cracks and started running around like a maniac.
Dude miraculous Mexico confirmed it there's no more debating. Also, literally almost everything confirms it?? How do u explain that scene in risk??? Emilie not being able to have children? Please just accept it.
Just to mention that Adrien was using The miraculous and The suit actually gives them more strength and resistance, so it's possible that The suit protected him

I love that Marinette loves Cat noir and I love this episode.
The animatics with akumatized Marinette could still become canon:
-For once, this season, she was the one vulnerable. He was the one who had to save her;
-Death, the slow kind, was showed twice during this show (Rose's disease and Gabriel's cataclysmatic state).
-Natalie is starting to find loopholes in her relationship with Gabriel that allow her to operate on a sort of agenda of her own;
-And Lila reminding everyone Ladybug is still a teenager, uncapable of handling the whole pressure...
You know where I'm getting at.
okay so Illusion was supposed to come after Jubilation where the whole Gabriel being nice to Adrien is bought more attention to by Adrien himself rather than like in this episode..where it seems so random yet normal for the characters in it. This episode is supposed to be after Illusion.

I feel like the Adrien being a sentimonster theory kinda makes sense within the fandom but if u rlly go back and check how he behaves and stuff and the more you think about it the more the theory no longer makes sense. Remember when miraculous was all about having a new villain every episode and not all this special stuff
Idk, there’s both pros and cons. I really like where season 5 is headed because the plot has thickened, the drama has been more prevalent, the characters have grown and continue to do so, and the structures of the episodes aren’t copy-and-paste like they once were. And season five’s animation quality is really nice too.
But yeah, I think we all liked the simplicity of the first 2 seasons, like after watching the first season, we all decided to stick with it. Some people complained about the show getting nowhere, which is why seasons 3-5 are just in a whole new ballpark.
It's literally the other way around now. At first, Marinette fell in love with her schoolmate and Cat Noir fell in love with his hero partner. Now, it's Adrien falling for his schoolmate and Ladybug/Lady Noir falling in love with her hero partner LOL Who would've thought?
If Adrian is a sentimonster shouldn’t have Gabriel and Nathalie been able to tell that he was a sentimonster when transformed as Chat Noir? I mean Nathalie was able to feel feast that was thousands of years old so why can’t she feel chat noir then? It would make no sense. We’ve also seen Gabriel create and control a Nino sentimonster even when transformed as Carapace in that one ep.

Actually Nathalie can only sense Amoks and she sensed Feast's Amok when it was inside him!
And Cat Noir never had the Amok with him instead his father has it(The Ring)!

all the theories aside, why dude can't be just happy about his father giving nathalie, person he really loves an is close with, her mothers ring bc he thinks they're romantically involved? like, in episode "Felix" he literally says he accepts her into his family, he approves their "relationship" . I get sentimonster theory makes sense, it would make a really good plot twist, there are clues etc etc. But not everything is about him being sentimonster? He's not even allowed to stare at a ring man what is this (i'm not aganist the theory i just think it's a little bit forced in some parts but the reason i comment this is so we can debate and share ideas. i don't mean to hate by any means, thank you)
