    Thanks for the video! Any idea if the intake and exhaust valve stem seals are identical or two different parts?

    Do you know how similar this motor is to a 2014 kx250f's motor?

    • @drm514
      @drm514  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Taylor Powell the whole motor is similar. 16 is slightly different and 17 18 19 are the same. I’ve used the 2011 service manual for some of the torques due to how similar the engine designs are. They don’t really change the architecture of them. Thanks for Watching!

      Derek Mazzone are the o-rings above the cam cap and below the cam cap the same on 16,17,18?

      Luis Santiago you would be fine going at least 75 hours but for me I wanted to make a video out of it

      Derek Mazzone ohh thank dude fro replying back, that’s good I guess I don’t have to worry to much my bike has 43 hours as we speak. there’s not much to do with this shut down but I’m also building it mostly all handling/control stuff. I’m debating if I should throw some hot cams stage 2

      Maybe just don't buy a dirtbike then if you don't want to maintain it. 🤷

    • @thegrossmansmx

      @@crazywormy5869 all depends on what you do I personally wouldn't open my engine till around 80-100 hours. I'm not hard on my bike but if you race and you 100% need to trust the bike won't lock up on you off the lip of a 100 ft jump. And some people like you probably trail ride and the bike never sees over 6k rpms besides a few times. It's situation depending but you have to take care of these bikes. They can seriously injure or kill you. It's not worth the risk to a lot of people.
