@@user-jw3xm3yj9t Im only speaking from my experience but i got the game on release and loved it, i played ranked every season and made my way out from low gold to high platinum, i genuinely loved the game but the game slowly began to feel boring since the gameplay doesn't change even when they add a new character...
I stopped playing a short while after Hammond was introduced and i have tried to go back and play it when Ashe and Sigma were added but the game hasn't changed much at all, the community is still toxic, there are never any new events and there is no pull factor to keep playing

I'd love to see more in-depth hints in valorant's lore. Also, this might be just me but the super minimalistic ui is one of my fav parts about the game.

Oh man, I was part of this closed-beta. Seeing how different the game looked then compared to now feels so nostalgic even though it wasn't that long ago. Valorant has certainly improved a lot.
I'll leave my opinion here then.
I started playing this game just a week ago and I really like it! I have absolutely NO experience on shooting games because I could never afford a good PC and I don't really want to ask my parents (who already have economic issues) to buy me a expensive game I can't even use on this laptop. When I saw that Valorant was free and that I could use it in my laptop I was really happy, I was expecting it to be some sort of Overwatch nor Paladins or something like that but the results are much more better than I was expecting!
What's ruining my experience are players that come from CSGO or whatever game, players that are basically "pros" playing in a team of noobs. Those are constantly reminding you that you're the worst player in the world and it makes me really depressed and angry as well, it really ruins everything for me. Plus, I'm a girl but luckly no one notices that cus my name isn't really "femenine" I guess?? And I also don't use the voice chat a lot.... I say luckly because being a noob + a girl would make my experience even worse I guess.
Anyway, the game itself it's really cool, the agents are amazing and fun to use (for me specifically Viper) and I'm thankful that Riot thought about players that don't have a SUPER PC and AMAZING WIFI, and most inportant; it'a FREE. So yea, I like it a lot.

@@indiscreetbeat Dude. It is literally Jeff Kaplan's favourite game. Overwatch is said to be an inspiration of tf2 but it just is worse. Heroes are pretty generic, they are just shown to be as deep as a 14 yo but they are pretty bland and have none of the humour and charm of the mercs. Hell, even before tf2 was free to play, it came along with half life 2 and portal for 50$. Whereas OW itself came for over 40$ and now I'm pretty sure the new Overshit is going to be 60$ because Blizzard has taken the trouble of adding a so-called campaign which is basically a glorified MvM. Blizzard has become the new Activision.
Every single one of those criticisms are valid except for calling it a ripoff, Bloodborne is heavily inspired by lovecraft, doesn’t mean it’s a ripoff. Class based shooters are allowed to exist, it’s a genre, not a feature

@@seantran4353 Well tbh, its not dead and dead at same times, i play it but i consider it dead bec of 2 problems, Pharah, Mei,Eco, Widow,Birgitte, should be removed or reworked from the game to be fair, and also. The competitive should not be split to DMG,TANK,HEAL. Its not competitive anymore, these 2 problems make the game not only dead, but undesireable to be competitive. I still play the game, but quick play which is not bad, but i cant go back to the competitive style as long as there isnt any competitive out there XD..

Really getting into this game. This is my first time playing First-person shooter games and being patient really rewards like I managed to get three headshots in a single round of fire.

I agree with some points... but there are two things I want to add.
1. The UI is amazing, it's honestly one of my favourite things from a design standpoint. It looks so funky and modern whilst also being easy to navigate and really clean.
2. About the 4 (5) smokes in the game: if some abilities weren't shared (smokes and flashes) then the same characters would be played over and over again. If only Brimstone had smokes then everyone would use him, and defense would only be able to smoke one site.
If your Still having trouble understanding Valorant then I’ll put it in an easy wording, THE GAME WANTS YOU TO CAMP.

It’s an attack, defense game.....not a run and gun (plus attackers have ABILITIES to break holds, most notably smokes, which is why there are 4/5 of them)

The thing is, it looks okay and I’d probably play it but the fact that it’s not on console alone means that I, and all my friends won’t play it.

I tried to play valorant with my dad (I play COD with him so it didn’t seem like much of a stretch) but my dad ended up hating this game because 1: he found it weird that he had to reboot the entire PC for vanguard anti cheat 2: the tutorial glitched out so he had to reboot the game to get the tutorial to work 3: he found the user interface confusing and 4: he asked me questions that to me seemed obvious such as “where do I buy armor?” or “what does this ability do?” And if he simply just experimented then he would know the answers to those questions. He also asked questions that I didn’t have answers to such as “why does the bulldog have burst fire?” and it frustrated me. I hope that one day he will try to play the game again but I don’t think it will be any time soon. But I’ll probably share this with him to explain a lot of his questions and I’ll see if that works.

The UI looks amazing imo, if youve played league (and noticed riot moving towards simpler designs) youd know that its not gonna be changing much. Thats their look, take it or leave it but dont say its effortless lmfao. just thinking of designs can take days or weeks lol. Graphics dont make it look less appealing either. unless you only play 4k cod or someshit.

People who doesn't have access to closed beta: "LET ME IN! LET ME IN!!!"
All the agents' smokes are all different:
1. Jett: Her smoke is thrown immediately wherever you aim and only last for about 3-5 seconds
2. Omen: His smoke is thrown when you press the smoke button and see the map x-ray style and put the smoke exactly where you want; his smoke also last for about 20 seconds
3. Brimstone: His smoke is thrown when you press the smoke button and see the map from a 2d bird's eye view. you can place 1-3 smokes at the same time at whatever location you desire
4. Viper: I don't have her yet, but i do know that her smoke damages the players that walk in it, for as long as they walk in it.
5. Cypher: I don't have him yet, but i do know that his smoke, makes a noise when players walk thru it, alerting his team to the opposing team
BTW, my favorite agent is Skye
The first time I watched this video, his point about having waaayyy too many smokes made me feel the devs were lazy game design or something but then after playing I realized that smokes are prolly the most important ability in the game. So if anyone new saw that and felt the same, now you know to think otherwise. (This was my first tac FPS, I started playing CS only after this)
