I admire bots like Bronco and Tombstone. Overall simplistic design, but the sheer power they have is impressive.

For anyone interested in combat robotics, there are many local competitions worldwide-predominantly in the UK, US, India, and Australia. The lower weight class bots can be built for 100-300 dollars US, and the hobby is extremely education and fun.

Free Shipping might not have success, but it never fails to entertain. Always look forward to seeing it show up, because the team behind it never gives up.
No offense but free shipping looks like it has a higher Chance setting itself on fire then setting the opponent on fire
@@professional6513 I mean, in a fight Free Shipping lost the forklift yet used it as a whip, and when its fuel tank was spewing oil, they set themselves on fire and rammed the other bot, Free Shipping is one of the most fiery and entertaining bots
I have seen a fight where free shipping got so much beating it raised a kind of respect for it. If it had better offensive capabilities it would win tournaments.
@@szabomarton8064 Well, the funny thing is that Original Sin, which is basically a weaponless Free Shipping made by the same team, is insanely successful. It’s won like 5 or so tournaments. So if Free Shipping removed the flamethrower (They’d have to keep the lifter because of the ‘active weapon’ rule) they could actually do pretty well,

This is my first time watching these battles. It's crazy how much it depends on the constellation of opponents. Saw "Bronco?!" in another fight having absolutely no chance, left me thinking: what a piece of crap. In this fight its the absolute opposite, very surprising and interesting 👍🏻

Bronco is considered one of the greatest bots in history, but is always plagued with gremlins and bugs and flaws
bronco is probably one of the greatest bots ever to exist (probably top 7ish) but its always had flaws and bugs that prevent a championship

Yeah it's one of my favourite robots. I'm always impressed how much pressurized air this thing can store. I've never seen a fight where it ran out no matter how many blows.

Lieutenant Nomad they tried lol and they got their primary weapon neutered. Also you be suprised how Many bots out drive bronco you’d think they’d come up with a better drive system so thy can ram and flip some on at high speed
They never had a chance. Bite force is a pretty overpowered robot, and the only way I can really conceive it being defeated is if we get another fluke like the bite force vs. Chomp fight, or you get a really Tanki robot

Bronco took a shot at Biteforce and missed. If he hadn't, it might have been a better fight.

Got to be honest here, the sound "editting/overlay" is realy ennoying this season and Id personally hope it will be abandoned for next seasons. It sounds very cheap and unrealistic. The raw audio sounds much cooler and more realistic.
It's still a tv show and to the newer battlebots fan they may like the over exaggerated hits

One thing that I like about Bronco is that he knows how to give his opponents a case of the giddy-ups.
Free Shipping is an interesting design with a lot of flexibility and a lot of options to attack with, but it's intrinsically harder to drive than Bronco. Bronco is a legendary flipper, simple to drive, well-armored, perfectly balanced to quickly right itself, and very forgiving for the driver. In this outing, it has spiked side armor to deter attacks on the wheels. One might assume that such a design would make it easier for wedges to get under it, but it also redirects wedge attacks from the wheels to the underside of the bot, and if the bot is flipped, it can always quickly right itself. A primitive but elegant solution to the problem of losing one's wheels. Probably the most disappointing part of this fight was at 1:20 when Free Shipping's flame failed to connect. That was some intense heat. Might've done some damage.

I'm surprised so many people are complaining about the sound, I watch battle bots cause I like watching two hunks of metal smash into each other and catch fire sometimes, I couldn't care less about the sound editing lol

It wasn’t really impossible if they maneuvered them like Hydra in the first minute or so in the fight
Free Shipping could easily outdrive them. Bronco is a good robot, but Free Shipping is unmatched in drive power, and especially the driving.
Beck Petersen sure they can out drive them, but just a while. The result is still losing. And I my opinion, free shipping has a very bad design
